A lot of people ask me "why do you call your shop Lindisfarne Driftwood?" It started in October 2008 when my husband decided at last to make some sculptures out of the driftwood he had been collecting over the years when we walk along the beautiful beaches of Northumberland and sell them on eBay. Unfortunately sales were slow - actually non existent and I suggested we buy some men's shirts from a local supplier who manufactures for Marks and Spencer which eventually led to ladies' clothing, maternity wear and now work apparel, particularly for the beauty and healthcare sector. We now operate the business together, both of us having been made redundant in early 2009. My husband also runs another eBay shop - HospitalityQuality and his own website www.hospitalityquality.co.uk which specialises in commercial and domestic products for the hospitality industry and he employs the same ethical selling principles as I have - please see below.

I have tried to eliminate all the issues that I have faced myself when shopping online.

• What if it doesn't fit?
• What if the colour doesn't suit me?
• Is there a nasty surprise with the delivery charge?
• How long will it take?
• Will they accept returns?
• What will it cost to return?

So I have made it as easy and simple as possible to shop with me, I try my hardest to describe items as accurately as possible, take a photograph to show the product at its best (I am still learning there!), try to answer questions within 24hrs (possibly a bit longer at weekends - grandchildren are so demanding!)  make all deliveries FREE in the UK and try and post them within 24 hours of receiving payment. Above all I offer a full no quibbles Returns Policy where I will either exchange the item or refund your payment and I will pay your RETURN POSTAGE COSTS.

All I ask of my customers is that they understand that occasionally I can make a mistake and I will rectify it as soon as possible and as I have said above you will never be out of pocket if you shop with me and have to return an item so please bear this in mind when leaving feedback.
