Welcome to the Terrence Higgins Trust World AIDS Day Auction |
This auction will run from 21st November until 1st December
2003 |
|
| October's edition of ELLE magazine
featured a series of photographs by former model turned photographer
Helena Christensen. Helena shots were of some of our favourite celebrities
in fabulous Levi's® jeans
and jackets. The proceeds of the accompanying 'People & Portraits'
exhibition and the sale of the portraits were donated to Terrence Higgins
Trust. Now, to mark World AIDS Day on 1st December we are auctioning the
Levi's® jeans and jackets that were worn and signed by our celebrity
models. This is your chance to bid for the Levi's® worn by Robbie Williams,
Orlando Bloom, Sadie Frost and Erin O'Connor to name but a few! |

About Terrence Higgins Trust |
| Terrence Higgins Trust is the leading HIV and AIDS charity
in the UK. Established in 1982, it was the first UK charity to be set up
in response to the HIV epidemic and has been at the forefront of the fight
against HIV and AIDS ever since. Our mission is to reduce the spread of
HIV, promote good sexual health and provide services which improve the
health and quality of life of people affected by HIV. We also campaign
for greater public and political understanding of the personal, social
and medical impact of HIV and AIDS. It is estimated that there are 50,000
people living with HIV in the UK. It is thought that about 15,000 of these
people do not know they have HIV because they have not been tested. There
is no cure for HIV and AIDS and more people than ever before are using
our services. These are just some of the reasons why we need your support. |
