I enjoy keeping up with trends and pop culture especially movies, TV and pop music.
I also love the science-fiction and fantasy genre. Strangely enough (or maybe not) though, I am not a Trekkie. My current favourite sci-fi show is Battlestar Galactica 2003.
I collect various magazines, CDs, some action figures and movie promo postcards.
I also like to attend sci-fi related conventions overseas when I have the funds! So far, I've attended 4 conventions in London and Germany. The last one was Ringcon 2003 at Bonn, Germany. I am hoping to attend another convention in 2007.. maybe one related to Battlestar Galactica!
As I'm based in Singapore, I have access to lovely local TV/ Film magazines with English text, like 8Days and FiRST. We also have a small range of teenage magazines that feature popular celebrities.
When I have time, I scour the thrift stores for rare collectible second-hand CDs.
