I'm an old fart who retired ages ago and I spend a bit of my spare time browsing eBay auctions for a bargain. I'm a happy sort of chap and I'll generally give the buyer or seller at the other end of a transaction the benefit of the doubt. On the other hand, if it becomes fairly obvious that urine is being extracted, I will do my absolute best to make sure that the opposition knows not to try it again. If that includes the Police, Small Claims Court or even a few well paid hoodies, so be it.

OK, We've got the nasty bit out of the way so now let's get serious. I live up in the North-West of England in the City or Blackburn. If you buy something from me and it's a bit hefty and would cost a fortune to post, I will be more that happy to deliver it myself for the cost of the petrol if you live within 25 miles or so. On a rough count, that means £7 if you live 25 miles from me (50 mile round trip) and for shorter distances, just work it out for yourself. To make this delivery system work, payment for the actual delivery MUST be paid by Paypal BEFORE I set off to deliver the item. This is in order to prevent scallies from winning an auction for a table with 6 chairs and asking for delivery to an address in Manchester and then hiding behind a fence, laughing their heads off as I try to explain to a Nigerian Asylum seeker that they have to pay me for a table. By the same token, if I win an auction where the seller lives locally, I will always ask if I can collect the item. Both when delivering and collecting, cash is king
