and Conditions of Sale
General
The
following terms and conditions apply to all orders, deliveries,
and other services. We expressly exclude all terms contrary
to those detailed below. Special conditions require a written
confirmation from us.
Our online catalogue, consisting of our eBay auctions and
store items, allows customers to purchase the items currently
being offered and send us their contact information and/or
questions.
We reserve the right to make minor and/or technical changes
in our items relative to the pictures and descriptions,
so long as these are of equal or better price/quality.
Alterations in item descriptions render all previous versions
invalid.
Before
Bidding
We would
like to remind you that winning an auction represents a
binding contract to buy the item.
Unreliable bidders can be thrown off eBay. Please bid only
if you are sure you want the item. If there are questions
on the auctions or the items offered for sale, please clear
these up by email with us before making a bid.
Delivery
Address
If the
desired delivery address is different from the one listed
on ebay, please let us know immediately by e-mail.
Making
Service Queries and Requests
Customers
are advised to contact us with special requests concerning
the assembly, components, payment, and shipment of their
orders. Using the contact information below will ensure
that requests are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Assembly:
We offer professional assembly of complete skateboard decks
for £3. If you want to take advantage of this service,
please send us an email at ebay_uk@skateshop24.com
Components: It is important that customers who purchase
custom complete skateboards tell us the size (for example,
7.63") and colour of the deck they want, as well as
the colour of trucks. Send these requests to ebay_uk@skateshop24.com
Griptape: Customers who want to order extra sheets
of griptape, or those who want griptape professionally mounted
on their deck(s) or a special griptape colour or design,
should send their requests via email to ebay_uk@skateshop24.com
Shipping: Customers who want their items delivered
to an alternate address, or who wish to order express delivery,
should send all such requests to ebay_uk@skateshop24.com
Payment
Auction
prices include 19 % German VAT taxes. You will receive a
commercial invoice along with your item. Payment in advance
of despatch is required for all items.
We ask customers to pay within 10 days of purchase, after
which non-paying customers will receive a reminder from
us. If the open balance has not been paid after 7 days after
this, we will have the sales commission reimbursed to us
and the item relisted--the purchase is thereby canceled,
and unreliable buyers will receive negative feedback. We
also reserve the right to take legal action as necessary.
PAYPAL
Our
preferred method of payment is paypal (www.paypal.com).
Paypal acts as the intermediary between us and the customer
-- the customer pays paypal and paypal pays us. Paypal accepts
major credit cards and is pleasant to deal with. Please

provide your ebay name and item number (or other means identification)
in the memo line of the transfer.
WE
DO NOT ACCEPT CHEQUES.
You
may, however, use Paypal to send us a so-called "e-Cheque",
see www.paypal.com for more information.
We cannot accept direct credit card payments,
postal orders, money orders, or other forms of payment.
Shipping
and Handling
Costs
for shipping and handling are indicated in each auction.
These costs are the same for the UK as well as most other
European countries.
Delivery within 5 - 10 workdays after receipt of payment
to addresses within Europe.
On shipments into non-EU countries (incl. Switzerland) the
buyer is responsible for any and all customs dutes/charges.
Cancellation/Return
Policy
Cancellation
and return rights apply for shipments within the European
Union only.
No return is allowed for sealed/originally-packed items,
if the seal or packaging has been opened or damaged.
Cancellation (without a reason) is possibe within two weeks
of despatch. You must send us a written notification (email
is permissible) and send the article back to the address
above. Packages sent freight forward will not be accepted.
All goods must be returned in original, unsealed, and unused
condition. Reimbursement of the purchase price occurs once
we have received the returned item.
Liability,
Guarantee, and Service
Skateshop24
has no liability for possible damages
that occur through the use of products purchased.
Standard
EU guarantee of 6 months for defective products. This guarantee
may not be construed to cover damages caused through the
normal usage or wear/tear. If defects are not corrected
within a reasonable period, the buyer has a right to exchange
or partial reimbursement according to § 476a BGB.

Personal
Data
In accordance
with § 33 Section 1 BDSG and § 3 Section 3 of
the German Remote Data Protection Law, we are required to
inform you that personal data stored on eBay will be saved
for the purposes of processing your transaction.

The
graphics, pictures, logos, jpegs, and contents of all auctions,
store items, and web pages are the property of Skateshop24, which reserves all rights. Copying, duplification,
or alteration by third parties is strictly prohibited.
