The vast majority of our orders are shipped by courier. Our preferred choice of courier is Business Post Ltd. Overseas customers, customers in Northern Ireland and the remote parts of Scotland will be handled by a alternative (but equally as reliable) courier.

All orders are despatched by a fully trackable delivery method. ALL deliveries will require a signature on receipt. Please bear this in mind when specifying a delivery address. We're more than happy to ship to a work address if that is more convenient for you.

From time to time customers will need to return products for a variety of reasons. We offer a no-questions-asked returns policy as we fully understand the difficulties of judging colours when shopping online. All we ask is that customers notify us within 7 days of receipt of their wish to return, that customers TRY to send back item unopened and include a note specifying the reason for the return and how you would like to proceed - either exchange or refund. A copy of the invoice included with the retuned goods would be of great help in tracing the customer account.

I have received the wrong item or my item has a fault. What do I do?

Contact us via Email within 7 days of receipt to say you intend to return the item. Send it back via Royal Mail to Terry Pickering Trading Ltd, Unit 1E Drum Ind Est, Chester-le-Street, Co Durham, DH2 1AG and include a copy of the invoice and a note highlighting the problem. I'm sorry but all items must be returned to us before an exchange or refund will be processed.

I am not at home during the day. Can I still order from you?

All our deliveries will require a signature on receipt and will not be left without one. If you are not at home during the day then I am happy to deliver the item to an alternative address (work, family member or friend). Alternatively if you are happy for the parcel to be left with a neighbour than please specify this at the time of payment and I will make the arrangements with the courier.

The courier (Business Post) has called when I was out and left a card. What do I do?

Ring the number on the card or ring my local Business Post office on 01914210000. They will arrange to deliver on another day between 9am and 5pm or you can collect from them. If this is not convenient then please contact us and offer an alternative address and we'll see if we can re-direct the parcel. This will be possible if the same Business Post depot services the alternative address.

I have a US king size bed. Will a UK king size fit?

Unfortunately no. Bed sizes differ around the world and all overseas buyers should check the sizes prior to purchasing.

Do you offer combined shipping charges?

For 2 or more items delivered within the UK I offer a total postage charge of . you can buy as many items as you wish and pay no more than if delivery is to a single address anywhere within the UK. I may also be able to offer a reduction to some overseas destinations. This is more difficult - so please ask first.

Can I collect and avoid the postage charge?

Yes, of course. We're always happy to meet our buyers face to face. We're based in unit 1E on Drum Industrial Estate in Chester-le-Street. It's just off the A693 opposite Batley's Cash and Carry. I'm there between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday apart from 3-4pm when I do the post-office-run.
