I no longer work full-time as I have retired due to ill health (arthritis). I have a lovely son who is now 9 and a big handful (ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia plus Hypermobility!). My ebay trading is just a hobby that I do in my spare time. I collect antique dolls and also sell them. I started collecting when I was just 13 - over 30 years ago ! I am always keen to share knowledge with other collectors - do contact me just for an email chat or to ask questions. I am also always keen to hear if I have made a mistake in my listings - please let me know if you see something wrong. Do contact me if there is something you are looking for in this field and I may be able to help. I am particularly interested in Kestner bisque headed dolls and others mainly around the 1890 - 1900 period. I also do some restoration as I cannot bear to see once beautiful dolls languishing. I will always state to the best of my knowledge the condition of each doll I sell and how much restoration they have, if any. Currently I have a large selection of china heads which have been dug up in Germany - I am listing them bit by bit. I try and buy vintage and antique fabric, laces and ribbons in bulk and pass on my good fortune to you. I don't always list everything I have in stock - so contact me in case I have what you're looking for.

I make and sell pearl jewellery as well. In order to find the interesting pearls that I like I often have to buy in bulk and then I sell some of them on. I try to be as helpful as I can in my descriptions: the pearls I sell are nearly all freshwater pearls and although the shape may be somewhat irregular (part of the charm I think) the lustre is usually very good. Peacock tones do not show well in scanned images. Again, I don't always list all I have in stock so ask if there is something particular you are looking for.
Postal information
I only go to Post Office once a week (usually Fridays) and this is sometimes delayed due to ill health, so I apologise if there is a delay in sending you your wins. I will always email to tell you when I despatch your parcels. If you need your items by a certain date, please let me know so that I can do my utmost to ensure that you get them in time.
I usually use First Class post (Air Mail letter post) unless requested otherwise. Letter post covers items worth up to about £27 ($42). Additional insurance is not available this way. If items are more valuable than this I use Special Delivery (which explains why some items of high value have a high quoted postage rate).
