We want to make buying from us a pleasure and will do what we can to assist. However we do have some terms and conditions – these are below, and only what you would expect to ensure that the transaction goes smoothly. GENERAL AUCTION AND BUY IT NOW TERMS
Please ask all questions before you bid. After the auction has closed is not the time to ask! We will aim to get back to you within 24 hours, if you bid we will assume you are happy with all details about the item being auctioned / listed. You may not get a response at the weekend – we all need some time off! If you are not happy or not in possession of all the facts that are important to you, please do not bid.
ALL of our items are BRAND NEW straight from the manufacturer. We buy specifically to resell, therefore nothing is used. There are NO RETURNS, NO SECONDS, NO CATALOGUE RETURNS ETC. Everything is NEW. Sometimes the larger boxes are slightly damaged or dirty (pushchairs / travel cots / cot beds etc) this is purely where they have been through the transport system to reach us. Any problem we notice will be noted on the listing and priced accordingly watch out for those bargains!
We require payment for items purchased or won within seven days. After this time we will open an unpaid item dispute and relist the item. If you have not made contact with us, then the item will no longer be available to purchase. If you have a problem with paying within this timescale please contact us, as long as you have contacted us we will hold the item for you to allow time to resolve any problem. We want you to be able to buy our goods, and if this means waiting a little longer for payment we will do this as long as you talk to us first. Once we have opened an unpaid item dispute you will be placed on the blocked buyer list and will be unable to buy further items from us.
PAYING FOR YOUR GOODS
We accept Paypal, cheques and postal orders.
Your payment should be made out to BLUE CAT NURSERIES LTD. Please make sure you indicate your bidding ID or the item number on your payment – you would be surprised how many payments we receive that we can not tie up to an item as no details are given! If you do not indicate who has sent the payment then your item may well be delayed as a result.
If we receive postal orders or Paypal instant payments your item will be dispatched within 24 working hours of receipt. If we receive personal or business cheques or Paypal echeques, these will be cleared before your goods are dispatched. You will get an email when your goods are on the way, so you will know roughly when to expect them to arrive.
Our address is 35 Drum Road Eastleigh SO50 5ST. Please note this is not a collection or delivery address its a private house and we would ask that you respect the privacy of the occupants.
POSTAGE / SHIPPING
We will send small items to you by Royal Mail second class post. Higher value items will be sent SIGNED FOR
Larger items will be sent by courier and will require a signature on arrival.
Larger items to Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland will be sent Royal Mail Parcels and shipping may cost a little more.
We DO NOT post internationally, UK only.
We aim to get everything on the way to you within 24 hours of your cleared payment being received – please refer to the PAYING FOR YOUR GOODS section. If there is a problem with doing so we will contact you, however everything is in stock, so delays should be very rare.
If you require delivery on a particular day please ask, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Second class items should reach you within five working days
Couriered items should reach you within two working days
Royal Mail Parcels will take up to 5 days
IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR ITEM
If your item is being shipped in the post you should receive it within a maximum of five working days. If you do not receive it, please check with your local sorting office to see if they are holding the item for you as most of our items are too large to fit through the letterbox. If they are not holding the item please contact us.
We will instigate a claim for loss after 15 working days have elapsed from sending, and as soon as the money is forwarded by the Royal Mail we will replace your item.
If your item is being sent with a courier, we usually pay for a next day service. Sometimes items are delayed for various reasons, however you should receive your goods within two working days (Not including weekends and bank holidays). If your item does not arrive on day one, please let us know and we will chase it up for you. A phone number is always helpful, as often the reason for the delay is that the driver can not find the address.
Items sent by courier WILL require a signature on arrival.
IF YOUR ITEM IS DAMAGED
If your item is damaged please contact us. Nothing leaves us in anything other than perfect condition. Once again we will pursue a claim for you and as soon as we are reimbursed by the party responsible for the damage, will replace the item if we have another in stock. In the event that we do not hold another we will refund your money instead. Items sent in the post are insured up to £32, we will not refund any more than we are given by way of compensation. We will deal with claims for loss or damage by filing a claim within two days of being notified of the problem.
COLLECTION OF ITEMS
Some of our items may be collected, some may not. Some of our goods are stored in a third party warehouse and they do not allow public access. Do not assume you can collect an item as some items can not be collected, please check. Collections can only be made between 9-3 Monday to Friday: no exceptions can be made.
RETURNS
Sometimes it may be necessary to return an item. Items being returned must reach us in perfect, unused condition, unwashed, unworn in all of the original packaging which must also be intact in order for a refund to be processed. Items will need to be completely resaleable and returned within 7 days. Any item which has been used, washed, not returned with the original packaging - ie NOT in the condition in which it left us will NOT be accepted for return. It will be returned to you and you will have to sell or dispose of it. The buyer will need to pay for the return carriage.
Please contact us before returning an item - we will work with you to resolve the issue. You will need to pay for the carriage to return the item.
You will be refunded by paypal if this is how you paid, or by cheque for any other means of payment.
Please do not let this deter you from buying from us, its just better if we all know where we stand before we start really don’t you think!
