Now for an ebay moan

I am honest in my feedback comments and I won't pretend service was good if it wasn't. I expect my comments to be answered on your ebay feedback page and not on mine. Better still I expect you to email me to try and resolve a problem if you can and not pretend I deserve a negative for your mistake. In fact a friend of mine recently had problems with his Internet connection and when he got back he had loads of 'negative feedback' simply because he had not emailed people within 24 hours - one moron even threatened to kill him if he didn't sort out the problem - the problem was that this customer paid late and the cheque had to clear. The item was in fact posted and arrived the day after the threat!

If I make a genuine comment such as 'goods arrived damaged' then it is not an insult it is a fact. To leave a neutral or negative feedback on my feedback isn't honest or fair. Feedback is about your service to me or my service to you such as paying or delivering on time, accurate description etc. so we can all improve our own service and you keep our custom.

A few people I have bought from have not left feedback for me until after I have received my items and given a comment on their service. I assume this is so they can leave a nasty comment on my website if their service is poor and I say so. How pathetic are these people?

PLEASE NOTE: Because of this childish tit-for-tat behaviour of obviously not-so-genuine sellers I will not leave any comment if you wait for me to praise you first. I expect your comment on my paying on time and behaviour to you to be unbiased as mine will be to my buyers. It is for this reason that the feedback on ebay is not worth anything!

Warning!

During the early hours of January 27th 2005 my ebay account was broken into and my password and email address was changed. Ebay sent an email telling me I had to take control of my ebay account again by changing my details and telling me nothing had been listed and no bidding took place. It was when I checked for myself that I realised a listing I had created had indeed been changed from a palmistry video starting at .50 to a ,000 rolex watch!

How did ebay know my account had been broken into? Why didn't they do something to stop it?
