A little bit about Pink Fizz

Pink Fizz Gifts and Jewellery has been in business since 2006. It's pretty much a one-woman operation - I'm Debby - with a little bit of husband's help now and then (lugging heavy boxes, and the odd post run). In the off-line world I work as a librarian in a public library (long may it last), and have a background in retail, so have masses of customer service experience. I have a toddler at home, so Pink Fizz fits around work and being a mummy.

When Pink Fizz began, I was making and selling beaded jewellery. You'll still find some of this in my shop, still all handmade by me - not that I have time at the moment! I began stocking some trinket boxes and mannequins as a sideline, but these very quickly took over. I now stock an ever-expanding range of imported giftware, which I source through British wholesalers.  Jewellery mannequins and stands are still a mainstay of my collection, along with some matching ring shoes. You will also find photo frames, trinket boxes and perfume bottles. I carry a range of compact mirrors, pill boxes and bookmarks, plus gift stationery and even floral oilcloth-style satchels and bags. 

I expanded my range to include kitchen and homewares, and was particularly thrilled with the popularity of the cupcakes and 'Keep Calm' ranges. The home fashion trend for shabby & chic retro and vintage styling looks set to continue, and many of my products are perfect for that look. Products include cushions, storage and hat boxes, teapots trays, teabag holders and spoon rests, and hugely popular wall hooks.

Payment

I accept Paypal, UK personal cheques and UK postal orders. Please make cheques and postal orders payable to D Richardson.

When do you post?

I post on at least Monday, Tuesday and Thursday every week, and always ship within 2 working days of receiving cleared payment. Through busy periods I do try to post daily. Many items are sent the same or next day, and you'll see from my feedback that I get many comments praising my fast delivery. I like to support the local Post Office in the village where we live, which is only open Monday-Thursday, but I will travel into town on Friday or Saturday to the main Office if necessary. If you need something sending quickly please email me, and I'll do my best to get it on it's way to you asap.
Occasionally items do get delayed or even lost in the post. If your item has not arrived within a few days of receiving my 'Item Dispatched' email, please do drop me a line.

Postage & Packaging

I'm happy to ship Worldwide. I offer free economy postage within the UK, usually via Royal Mail 2nd Class or Standard Parcels. Larger items may be sent by courier - MyHermes ParcelShops or CollectPlus. You can upgrade to 1st class or Next Day Special Delivery if you need the item quickly, although 2nd class seems to arrive fairly quickly too. Airmail is offered for international items. Please ask if you would like a quote for a different service. Prices include the cost of postage and all packaging materials. Items are securely packed in boxes, bubble envelopes, bubble wrap or mailing bags as appropriate. If you feel your item was insufficiently protected please let me know so that I can improve my packaging for future customers.

I use EcoFlo strach-based loose fill, as an alternative to polystyrene chips. EcoFlo is 100% biodegradable and can be disposed of on your compost heap. I generally use new cardboard boxes as they are stronger - please reuse and recycle them for me. I recycle all the paper waste my business creates.
 

Returns Policy

I hope that your purchase will reach you in great condition. In the event of it being damaged or faulty, please email me in the first instance. I will always refund or replace. If I require you to return the faulty item, I will recompense you for your postage costs.
Non-faulty returns are also accepted. Goods should be returned as they were sent, with all original packaging and in a saleable condition. The buyer must pay for return postage for non-faulty returns.
