I am Ann and this page is about me personally.

I live in Yorkshire- God's Own County. Born in London, I was really pleased to discover earlier this year that I have a Yorkshire Grt Grt Grandmother and can claim some Yorkshire ancestry! My husband and sons are Yorkshire men & and even my cats are Yorkshire cats! I have always  been teased about coming from London! But I am proud of being born a COCKNEY!

The cats Sophie and Tigger RULE this household. Sophie is the big boss- our boss too! She is a torty rather than a tabby with sprinkles of ginger. Tigger is ginger and white longhaired and is just crazy!  He is Maine Coon and loves the outdoors. We take them both travelling whenever we go to antique fairs. I have two sons, the elder married & I have  three grandchildren:- two grandaughters and a grandson. I suffer badly from depression and migraine- I am registered disabled- and this effects my abilities to do things. One aspect of my depression is SAD or winter depression and my ability to cope is badly effected mid winter. I am very agrophobic at the moment   and get very panicky in shops & waiting rooms when loads of people are about. I can't go far on my own BUT my husband Steve & friend Ann are hatching plots to get me out more.

We do Todmorden  secondhand Market on Thursdays if I am well enough and Wetherby Carboot on a Sunday, health & weather permitting. You are welcome to pick up heavier items and save postage.

My collection of Partridge in a Pear Tree broochse

I personally collect Peter Fagan Colourbox Cat figures and costume jewellery. I am mostly interested in Kirks Folly pins, partridge in a pear tree brooches and rhinestone Christmas tree brooches. See the pic of my Partridge in a Pear Tree brooch collection in the photo on this page. They don't all have partridges or pears- one has oranges but it fits in! Collections tend to diverge a bit from the original theme- or mine do!! I have new items to do pictures of but always seem to be waiting for an item to arrive before I get it done.
