50 Favourite Trees

Hello, we are Steve and Jess and we have been trading as Phoenix Engraving for around 7 years now, although Steve has tinkered with engraving machines as a hobby before this. Fed up with his 30 year painting and decorating trade, Steve retrained as an engraver and Phoenix was born. Our first (very exciting) purchase was a state of the art laser engraving machine, and over time we have picked up more and more equipment until we had so many bits and pieces we had to expand our workshop to make room for them!

The main core of our business right from the start has been memorials, but the last two years has seen us branching out into the personalised gift market and offering a wider range of services, including engraving of horse tack and security marking. The wide range of equipment we have enables us to work one with the other to create wonderful things.

Chocolate Box

The pictures show some of our more unusual commissions! The one on the top left shows 50 solid oak plaques we made for the 50 Favourite Trees of Epping District Award. This project was sponsored by Epping Forest DC, The Tree Council, The Guardian newspaper, Essex Biodiversity and The Local Heritage Initiative.

The right hand picture shows the chocolate box templates that we produce for some of the larger chocolate manufacturers.

We thoroughly enjoy our work and as you can see it offers plenty of variety! We particularly enjoy working with our Ebay customers as we have met so many interesting and nice people. It's great to be able to supply something for somebody's wedding and you know that you're making that person's big day that bit more special.
