We offer cheap and affordable solutions for everyone, our laptops are cheap and ideal for students, anyone who wants to save money and own a good quality laptop which does all your word processing, runs most of your old dos games, and still have time for listening to music - mp3's, wavs etc, (on selected laptops with sound chipsets only).
Most of our laptops will have their hard drives formatted before being posted out to you, to meet with legal requirements.
If you want any particular software installed on the systems then please e-mail us your requirements and within reason we will do our utmost to install the software for you.
terms and conditions
1 - please bid only if you can pay the final bid amount within 7 working days of close of auction, if not then please do not bid, plus contact must be made with me within 3 working days of close of auction to let me know when payment will be made if there would be a delay in payment, still payment must be made within 7 working days of close of auction in any case.
2 - once you place a bid you enter a legally binding contract and you must adhere to the terms of the auction. If not then ebay will be notified and you may get banned from the site.
3 - A refund will only be given if the item is lost in the post, or if the item arrives in a damaged state and the item you receive is substantially different to the item listed in the auction - this does not include sold as seen items.
4 - the refund amount will be the final auction value only, postage and packaging costs will not be refunded in any case. 5 - as I use royalmail, their policies for compensation in the event of loss or damage of items will only allow me to offer the refund policy that I currently adopt. For more information on their compensation policy for loss or damaged mail, please visit www.royalmail.com, please check carefully the time it takes to receive the refund from royal mail, sometimes it takes upto 4 weeks during busy periods. the refund will be issued by royal mail to me, then I will forward a cheque for the full amount that royal mail refunded me.
6 - if you want to return the item then return postage is your own responsibility and will not be refunded along with the initial postage costs for sending the item in the first place.
7 - this refund policy only applies to tested working items, which have been tested and are shown to have good operation. with no damage to any components, unless stated otherwise. This refund policy expires after 7 days after receipt of goods.
8 - the refund will only be issued once a successful claim from royalmail can be made, this may take upto 30 working days from initiation of the complaint, sometimes longer during peak periods. in these circumstances a refund will not be be issued before royal mail have finished conducting their enquiries.
9 - all claims will be handled by us, we will send off all relavent documents and information to royalmail. if in the event that royalmail want to inspect the items then a request will be sent by e-mail for the items, plus an address to send the items to, usually this will be a freepost address provided by royalmail, so no postage costs will be incured by you in this case.
10 - the laptop will have an operating system if it is mentioned in the auction desscription, this is only a basic install with no drivers for internet access and other extra programs, unless mentioned otherwise, the software is purely the buyers responsibility and we do no accept any responsibility for installing extra programs and drivers once the laptop has left our building fir despatch to you. you must ensure therfore that whatever you want to install on the system afterwards, you must have the ability and drivers to do so on your own, as we will not be able to help you in this case.
11 - we offer an excellent after sales service for our customers, if they have any queries and questions about the product they pruchased from us. Please note that we may not be able to help with drivers and software issues.
12 - it is assumed that the bidder will have a certain amount of knowledge in computer terminology, if there is anything that the bidder is unsure of they MUST e-mail to get further advice, and I will do my best to help.
13 - I will not be responsible for bidders misunderstanding the auction description as the description is clearly set out and if there is anything you are unsure of then please e-mail me.
14 - please note that I cannot gurantee the status of second hand batteries, if they held charge during testing then this will be mentioned, but this does not mean that the battery will be guranteed to hold charge fully or function just like a new battery, since I do not know how old the batteries in these systems are, how they have been charged in the past or how long they have been left drained etc..
