HELLO & WELCOME FOR 2009...READ BELOW!

THANK YOU ALL EBAYERS WHO HAVE MADE IT A LOVELY PLACE FOR ME IN 2008!!

HELLO and WELCOME...to BEARY ABLE!...My name is hazel and I have been making and restoring bears for a long while now...I am also a passionate collector of all types of THE TEDDY BEAR...

During my years in the bear world there are many things I have learnt....but the one thing that stands out above all is that ~ THERE IS ALWAYS ANOTHER BEAR!...and if you miss "this"one you can be sure another will come along soon after...

WE are a nation ~ indeed a world of teddy bear lovers!...and teddy is one of the most diverse designed and mass marketed items ever to be made!....CAN you imagine just how many teddy bears have ever been made...I CANT!....The mind boggles!...

We have soft bears, hard bears, china bears, plastic bears, glass bears, wooden bears, fluffy bears, bald bears, funny bears, sad bears, thoughtfull bears, even sexy rude bears!...and the list goes on....

not to mention all the items depicting bears...pictures, bedding, cushions, rugs, t sets, lamps, wall paper, jewellry, clothing, books!...probably every item we can think of has at some point been made with a bear on!...OUR appetite for THE TEDDY BEAR is INSATIABLE!...

so where does that leave us...WELL someone has to take care of these wonderful friends of ours...WHO have given us SO much pleasure since the early 1900s...and this is why I feel passionate about them all... in one way or another...this part of about me is dedicated to my *bear* friend Doreen who sadly passed away a while ago...you are sadly missed my friend and I have no beary friend to talk to anymore...god bless you...I am sure you are with lots of bear angels now...and probably angel guinea pigs too! xxxxx

I sometimes have to sell a bear to allow room for others ...SAD but if not there would be no room for my long suffering adorable hubbie! LOL!...

SO...any BEAR listed will have simple but accurate information...REMEMBER!~~~

Always do as much research about teddy bears as you can ...so you can be sure about what you are bying...IF you like what you see...then BID!

ALL bears and other items are packed VERY WELL...and I have been fortunate to have recieved some wonderful feed back "THANK YOU!"...

OTHER THINGS about me...the things I like are: SPACE THE UNIVERSE AND EVERYTHING!...My planet and wildlife is a passion...Its the only home Ive got!...

FISH are a favourite with the COELACANTH living dinosaur being at the top of my list...hence my ebay name!...I am a member of R.S.P.B...English Heritage and my local ZOO...

SPACE the planets are a real favourite and we have a supa telescope but light pollution is a problem...so Cornwall here we come...soon I hope!...

BIRDS are a must I cant imagine a planet without birds!...or any other animal for that matter...NATURE...it all fits together well dont you think!...

....untill we came along!...

ANOTHER love of my life is...RATS! fancy or wild...I have been honoured and very lucky...to have kept some of the most wonderful pet rats ever bred...

ALAS they are not blessed with longevity...but what they lack in length of life they make up for in character and loyalty!...and I will always have room for a rat or 2!...

They are to be admired in the wild for being one of our oldest living neighbors...gifted with tenacity, adaptability, and a prolific breeding cycle...has ensured they remain one of our most succesful species...surpassed only by some insects!...OR teddy bears!...I wonder? lol!..

             A WARNING to all ferret owners...

there have been an increased number of injured ferrets...

there is a small hook on the end of a ferrets penis...

this has been getting cought on wire shelves and ledges...

the makers of these types of cage and shelving are not interested in this terrible problem...

so PLEASE avoid this type of cage for ALL your pets...as they also cause problems for their soft feet!...THANK YOU for reading this ....xx

hello!....maxxi is adorable he loves going out in the car...we take him walking and playing each w/e....and i have to say....tho' not to offend any of you....he is better than a dog!!...groan i hear you doing...this poor sad mis-guided woman!!...but its true!!!....we would never want to be without him.....so how have you all been??...happy and healthy i hope xx bye for now talk soon xx

wow!...its now the eve of 2009!

i still have little maxxi! he is as adorable as ever...mmm-yummy boy!...lol!...my old year has seen me with illness and upset...so my new year will be trying to raise for charity as much as i can...my chosen charity is the "starlight childrens foundation"...

a wonderful small (18people &1 office) charity who grants as many children as possible their "wish" it may be disneyland or horse riding or a trip to maCdonalds!...whatever it is

 "starlight" helps them and their family to have their wish come true!...and i cant think of anything better they can give to a dying or seriousley ill child...

if any of you have ever had an ill child or lost a child then you know how important it is to feel happy and alive again...

just one trip & granted wish can change a childs life forever!...and bring happiness and laughter to them all...

how much would you pay to bring laughter & true happiness to a child who's life and hopes are torn apart before they've even had a chance to grow?...

LAUGHTER IS PRICELESS!...so please bid as much as you can afford...

a full ***91p***of every £1 thats raised goes to these children & their families...

 wow! here is 2012!!!! and its gone soooo quick!

I still have my maxxi pompom ...the reason ive not been here till now is because we have all had to deal with serious health problems...but fingers & toes X we may begin to see the light this year...Im now well enough to list items again and coming soon will be...

 fossil bags- kipling bags & monkeys- old bears -craft kits for cards & scrapbooking....even tho' I have a ferret my house is*odour free**maxxi is not allowed anywhere near my items!...so bid with confidence!....take a look at his pic....

I will now be selling in aid of my local hospice *Keech hospice*
