Bill's EBay Auctions and the FAQs!

Hello... ...and welcome to my "about me" page. I sell (and sometimes buy) quite a bit of stuff on EBay on an irregular basis. Below is a list of my 'terms and conditions' as it were.

Payment. I expect payment within seven days. Please inform me on receipt of invoice if you plan to pay by cheque or PayPal. I prefer payment through Paypal (recent banking practices have left me more than a little leery of accepting cheques) - and will only accept cheques from UK bidders. Sign up for Paypal by clicking the image below.

Any cheques sent must be cashable at UK bank, and made payable to WILLIAM HERON - sorry, but Overseas bidders (i.e. those without addresses in the UK) must use PAYPAL. Allow an extra 4 weeks for delivery if paying by cheque.

Dispatch. Once I've received the cash for any auction goods, I'll dispatch them via Royal Mail, normally on the Saturday morning after payment. If you live overseas I will send them via airmail

Postage and Packing costs. All bidders are advised to contact me at the end of the auction regarding postage charges, before paying! I send all items overseas by Royal Mail Airmail - it may be more expensive, but I've found that the items arrive in better condition! Non-paying bidders. I will not hesitate to leave negative feedback if someone bids and fails to pay-up!

Returns. If you're not happy with an item you've bought, return it to me saying why and I'll refund the auction cost only. Postage will not be refunded.

Who am I?

I'm Bill Heron and live in Edinburgh, Scotland. I'm pretty prompt about sending stuff out, normally at the weekend. Overseas items I normally send air-mail, and takes about a week in most cases. In the UK, it'll be via Royal mail.

To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received. Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
