Hi there please let me introduce myself, my name is Nick Kent and I live in Central London, England, and when the wind blows in the right direction I can hear the chimes of Big Ben. I have been interested in Model Soldiers and have had a real passion for Military history for as long as I can remember, my dad use to buy them for me in the early Seventies, makes such as Britains, Matchbox, Airfix etc, between my dad and I, we have vast collections of model soldiers from all the famous makes new and old, driving my wife and my mum mad, but we cant stop this ongoing passion of ours to collect and hoarde model soldiers !!!!.

Over a year ago, I was browsing Ebay when I came across the painted 1/72 and 1/32 scale soldiers in the Airfix categories on here and as if I had seen the light, I thought to myself wouldnt that be a good idea to start to combine my vast knowledge of Model Soldiers, Military History and my passion for painting model soldiers of some 25yrs, and start to sell a few bits and bobs, well a year on and things have moved on after meeting and dealing with wonderful people from over 27 countries Worldwide that I have had the pleasure to have dealt with and made some good friends on here, I have now decided to open up my Ebay Shop The London Toy Soldier Bunker where people can come and have a look at my latest painted figures and models and the unpainted vintage and modern plastic figures I have for sale, My favourite periods to paint are the Zulu Wars, Napoleonics and WW11, each figure I paint is researched and painted as near as you an get to the actual uniform of the period spending many a long hour in the Imperial War Museum and National Army Museum here in London trying to get things right. I am always up for a chat and if anyone wants to ask me any questions please contact me through the Ebay message service and I will always try to help a fellow collector or painter out with any questions they might have.
