Mosaic-making me


I've dabbled with arts and crafts most of my life, but this is the first time I've made life changes to focus on what I really enjoy! So goodbye to the corporate business world and hello to playing with beautiful, almost edible, little squares of colour. Of course, they're not just square - they're also round, oblong, smooth, shiny, matt, sharp, reflective, clear, streaked and colour-changing!! Mmmm... lots of little beauties...

At the same time, now that the children have left home, I've just started the first year of a six (6!!) year fine art degree course (part-time). Both aspects, art degree and mosaic supplies and workshops, complement each other very well and it is so great to be dealing with, and working with, creative people!

As my regular customers know I'm a fan of recycling. So as much as possible I collect packaging materials from friends, family and local supermarkets. Don't worry, I err towards more packaging rather than less, but I get perverse satisfaction from doing a very small bit to help.
