Oldcards.co.uk is a new website for anyone who has an interest or collects vintage or old postcards.
The new sister website of Artysnap.com.
At the moment the new website gears towards UK topographical postcards, dating from the early Edwardian era, up until the 70s, with a good spread of every period in between. I am still building up this main category, and soon will branch out to include Euro and Rest of the World topographical postcards. Other categories will surely soon follow.
Condition of more than a good few old postcards I feel can be rather an uncomfortable issue. I always try to show best I can, even by sharpening up the images, thereby trying to reveal those elusive defects, rather than give my personal opinion of the condition of that sometimes, awkward postcard that doesnt really fit into the normal grading area.
