Hi there, my name is Michelle and I am based in the North East of England in the county of Northumberland, although I was born in London…
I have had a love of painting all of my life and after leaving school I travelled to college to gain further qualifications in art, design and media studies as well as English language and mathematics.
After meeting my now husband and having two brilliant children, I stopped painting to pursue a career in administration and customer service.
In 2005, I became very ill. After over a dozen stays in hospital and a year and a half had passed, I was diagnosed with Crohns disease and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS – formerly known as M.E.)
Due to these difficult illnesses, I have been unable to work and since then I have had the time to once again design and create artwork.
My primary field of artwork is abstract and modern art as I enjoy creating paintings with deeper meanings……most of my artwork is inspired by nature and various components within it….for example, seasons, daylight, nightfall, flowers etc etc…although I have also created personal commissions depicting many other designs as well – these include the Welsh Dragon, a Chinese dragon, fairies, motorbikes, poodles, judo badges to name but a few!!
Customer service is of the utmost priority to myself and I pride myself on offering an excellent, reliable and friendly service to every customer I have….I try extremely hard to ensure quick deliveries of my paintings but sometimes there can be slight delays depending on if I’m ill – I do try to keep everyone informed though and have been blessed with some fantastic and patient customers in the past….I ALWAYS make myself available to answer any questions or offer any suggestions, so don’t hesitate to drop me a line about anything I have on offer!!!
