Meccano Hornby


As a child I can remember have several toys, apart from a Teddy Bear there others stood out. I inherited a box of Meccano some of which had been my fathers and his father before him. My father bought me a TT model railway which eventually rusted due to being put in a shed. I also had a collection of cars, Dinky, Corgi, Spot on and Matchbox

As I grew older the teddy bear and the cars went. However I kept up the model railways transfering to OO and Later N. Also the Meccano to end up with a large collection. As an adult my first job was in a model shop, later I traded at Toy fairs and of course later still on Ebay.
