Our watches have been put through countless tests in the lab, streets of major cities, small country back-roads and in various military theatres of operation throughout the world, where they have met and exceeded every challenge that has come their way.

Our original Navy SEAL dive watch was requested by and designed in conjunction with the Navy SEALs and has been supplied to SEAL teams.
There are at least three individuals that we have worked with directly to modify the design of our SEAL watch to meet specific criteria:

Please excuse the omission of ranks, as we are sure that these highly motivated individuals have received promotions since our original dealings with them.
Under the direction of John A. Engraff, Mr. North originally approached Luminox with the intent of modifying one of our pre-existing dive watches, which already incorporated our unique illumination technology, for use on night missions. After much testing, the development of new case molds, modification of our existing Swiss watch movement, and a year of research and development, three (3) modifications were made to our casing in order to meet SEAL standards:
1. The use of a coin edge bezel as opposed to a scalloped bezel that could be gripped and subsequently turned even in cold & wet conditions by a gloved hand.
2. A tighter unidirectional ratcheting bezel that could not be inadvertently knocked out of alignment with the true time it had been set to-Critical for dive missions.
3. The addition of a second hand movement with our unique technology (micro gas light sources Mil-W-46374F) applied to the second hand.
Ultimately the revised watch met MILSPEC# Mil-W-46374F. The watch was finally deployed in 1994 and has been "lighting night" ever since.

1. Properly represent and promote the quality image and superior goodwill associated with Luminox watches.
2. Do not advertise or market Luminox watches in any way that disparages or injures Luminox or its products. Luminox believes that marketing of its products on Internet auction sites disparages the brand and is inconsistent with the product image that Luminox dealers should promote.
3. Do not engage in any form of advertising or advertising practices that violates any federal, state or local laws or ordinances.
4. All close-outs and factory defects must be clearly identified in all advertising or promotions by using the appropriate style number and the use of one of the following terms only: Manufacturer Close-Out,Manufacturer Discontinued Style(s),Manufacturer Discontinued Model(s),Manufacturer Overstocks,Factory Defects,Factory Damaged,Second Quality,Blemished or Blems.
Luminox values the support of Authorized Dealers that share its commitment to promoting the quality of Luminox products.
Luminox is the owner of numerous trademarks and trademark registrations which identify its watches sold throughout the United States and around the world. Luminox has continuously and exclusively used its Luminox Trademarks to identify its watches that it has marketed and sold in interstate commerce. In addition, Luminox has copyright rights in the product images and text appearing in proprietary promotional materials and on its official Internet site.
The Luminox Trademarks and copyrighted materials have been the subject of millions of dollars of advertising and promotion in the United States and abroad. In addition, Luminox has sold tens of millions of dollars worth of products identified by its Luminox Trademarks. As a result of Luminox extensive use and promotion, the Luminox Trademarks are well known among the relevant consuming public as identifying Luminox high quality products. Due to the valuable goodwill Luminox has developed in its trademarks, Luminox will not tolerate the unauthorized use of its trademarks, or its copyrighted materials, because such unauthorized use is likely to cause confusion among the public as to the source, origin, sponsorship, or affiliation of products and services identified by the Luminox Trademarks and copyrighted materials, but not operated or authorized by Luminox.
The Luminox Watch Company is a member of the eBay VeRO Plus Program and shall report all instances of "trademark violation" according to the standards that have been set forth by eBay and the VeRO Plus Program.
Luminox has decided that it will sell its own Reconditioned Watches on Ebay and will offer new items that have been identified as close-outs/overstocks. We will also offer various private label watches where excess product has not been claimed by the original procuring party. Any watch that has been tagged as private label will recieve a % percentage donation back to the original organization.
