My name is Claire and i own/run Goddess Enchantments. I am from a hereditary line of witches which dates back many hundreds of years. I have practiced all my life and being a witch is not something i do, its who i am! So when i had the chance to start up my own business with the encouragement of my family i jumped at the chance. For years i have worked in other peoples new age/pagan stores and was always shocked at the amount of factory made spell and ritual items available.

Im very lucky in the fact i have worked with herbs, oils and spell craft since such a young age its something i find comes naturally. I make all the oils, herb mixes, room sprays, incenses, essences, charm pouches, oils burner scents, bath teas and more for the shop by hand to order. This not only gives a personal touch but ensures quality and the potency of all the ingredients used. I've stuck to my original plan since opening the store and enjoy providing the wiccan and pagan community with handmade supplies at a reasonable price for everyone.

Much of my inspiration for the store comes from nature, whether it be our garden, a walk in the forest or a stroll across the fields. I currently grow and hand dry many of the rarer herbs for the shop and this year our selection will be growing once more. We moved last year so up until now have only been able to grow our herb but this year the garden is finally ready to start our adventure into growing our own veg. Currently on the way are carrots, potatoes, corgettes, broccoli, cabbage and im hoping our Samhain Pumpkins!!!

I love gardening and have a real passion for organic vegetables. I grow everything from seeds in the greenhouse which really helps connect with the earth.

I work with many kinds of magick from egyptian to faerie. Nature spirits as a whole are very close to my heart and we have a wonderful faerie garden. Currently just blooming as the spring awakens. It looks stunning with foxglove, angelica, heathers, pansies, crocus and mini iris to name just a few. The faeries are rather happy as the wooden faerie house is not closely surrounded by the growing plants and the roof covered in moss. We also have a lady bird house and some solar lanterns which look so pretty lit up at night. Any faeries items in the store have come from inspiration thanks to the faeries in the garden and some have even been blessed by them.

We also share our home with our two cats, one with a keen love of all things magickal and one who would rather run around playing with screwed up paper :-) Both can be rather opinionated and our eldest tries to get herself in every photo i take for the shop!!!

Im a keen kitchen witch so i can often be found in the kitchen brewing up one thing or another. I also love baking and find food can be eaily charged to help bring happiness and joy to a home.

We have been open now for just over a year and during that time i have had so many wonderful people come to me and trust in me to help them with one thing or another. Many who are now good friends! From babies conceived to weight lost nothing makes my day more than an email from a customer i have previously helped. We are a small family run business and my main aim is never to lose the personal experience i aim to provide for the customers who visit the store. I write all the spells for the shop and make the personalised spells tailored to the person. When i started the store i had 10 items, now we have grown considerably and i hope to be able to help and supply the wiccan community for many years to come.

I have recently added free information pages into the shop which i hope people new to wicca or those interested in certain spell such a fertility will find of help.
