Company Overview
We
are a small family run business based in Darlington Co. Durham. The Company
started with Mike (now Managing Director) working from the garage at home.
He bought products, listed products, sold products, picked products, packed
products, answered the telephone, made the coffee, cleaned the office.
basically everything that needed doing, Mike did it. Things came to a head
when his wife Lynda (now a Director) could not get along the hallway
for packages and could not get to the cooker without climbing over boxes.
The ultimatum from Lynda, was stop ebay or get some premises. As Mike was
already hooked on ebay, Lime Marketing was born. Mike moved to the premises
that we are in now which are 5,000 sq ft and after working together as a
partnership, we became a Limited Company.
We have 4 sons, namely, Ryan, Tom, Gary and Dan who
have all had a stint working alongside us but only Dan has decided to make it
his full time career. The staff now consists of: Mike Osborne: Managing
Director, Lynda Osborne: Director/Company Secretary, Kath Powton: Office Manager
and Customer Service, Dan Osborne: Purchasing and Business Development, Martin
Powton: IT and Marketing Executive, Gary Sandick – Warehouse Coordinator and Tom Powton: Warehouse.
Lime Marketing.co.uk Ltd has now expanded into multi channel marketing via the
internet on various web sites and auction sites. We sell through Readers Offers
in the national press and have a commodity/clearance department. We welcome
telephone enquiries (01325 749044) and although we have continued to expand we
still remain a small friendly family run business.
