Postage & Packing Policy

As the items we sell vary considerably in volume, weight and how fragile they are, we do not have a single postage and packing policy.  Instead, each item is priced separately.

Our records show we have very few breakages and "losses" in the postal system, but if you do have a complaint or query please contact us by email.  We package as well as is necessary, sometimes re-using packaging materials to help the environment.

If you are buying multiple items we can usually offer a discount, again contact us for details.

Delivery

For all orders, domestic and international, we only deliver after payment has been received and in the case of cheques, where payment has cleared.  For standard orders and domestic orders, our delivery policy is within 7-14 days but we aim to deliver within 7 days.  If you need your item faster then contact us and we will aim to please.
For international orders and special orders, please allow 7-28 days for delivery after the design has been approved.

Returns

If you are genuinely not pleased with your purchase then please contact us at once.  If we cannot resolve any issues with you then the item may be returned for a full refund of the cost of the item.  The item must be unused and undamaged.  We will not refund postage and packing costs.
Recorded or special delivery can be arranged at extra cost if requested.  We cannot refund items that don't arrive in the post - we always obtain proof of posting.

FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

Question - VAT has been charged again when the description says that VAT is included in the sale price.  Why is this?

Answer - If you have paid already then send us an email and we will refund the over-payment immediately.  There is a problem with the ebay listing software which has not yet been corrected by ebay.

Question - Can you engrave pictures and motifs onto plaques?

Answer - Yes, virtually any picture onto a Black Slate Plaque, but only letters and numbers onto grey natural slate plaques.

Question - Can you email me a proof?

Answer - Sure, just email your request and we will email a proof for you to approve.
