John Richards surplus business was established in 1955, dealing in exilitary surplus stock, including Land Rovers and Motorcycles. Andrew Richards joined his father in the business in 1973 and in turn Alistair, Andrew eldest son, joined the family business in 1995 .
This 3 way partnership continued for 9 years and expanded it interests to general surplus and all forms of motor vehicles until the unfortunate passing of John Richards in December 2005. Andrew & Alistair continue to man the sales team and are reaching out through E-bay and their own website to bring special offers and bargain deals to a broader customer base around the U.K and Europe.

John Richards is already a well-respected name not just in Shropshire, but around the world with customers in places such as Jersey, Italy and the USA among others. We still specialize in Land Rovers and spares for all models but the business is diversifying with a move more towards general surplus goods of all kinds at very reasonable prices.
The price shown in our E-bay listings are fully inclusive of VAT, there are no hidden extras! And every purchaser will receive a VAT Receipt in their parcel.
Customers outside the EU should email for VAT exclusive pricing on 'Buy it Now' goods and carriage costs on larger items. We regret that we are only able to accept personal cheque payments from UK customers and goods will not be posted until clearance. This is usually 10 days after receipt of the cheque as it can take this long for a cheque to bounce (sometimes longer!) Immediate payment through Paypal will ensure your goods are posted within 3 working days.
