Hi, and thank you for taking the time to read the "ABOUT ME" page. Hopefully by the end of this you will know me a little better and understand that my main objective is to offer you genuine, honest advise about any purchase you may make.
I was born passionate about clothing & fashion. Even as a young girl I always wanted to look very different from anyone in school and was consistently reprimanded for adding embellishments which I belived were a large improvement to any school uniform I was wearing. I grew up in Australia and when most girls were running off to school bare foot, there I would be sneaking out my grandmother`s heels from my school bag and clopping down the road! The teenage years became even more daring and I must have "customized" every piece of clothing I could get my hands on.
Over the years this facination and passion has never left me and whilst I devour every magazine possible with regards to mainstream fashion and do confess to owning far too many designer handbags, my personal preference has always been European unstructured interesting clothing.
As a personal clothing stylist I have over the years gained great satisfaction from helping to dress wonderful ladies NO MATTER their shape or size! The rewards have been immense and most of my wonderful clients are now much more than that they are very special friends.
And here we are today, my little site on Ebay has grown considerably over the past 5 years. I have met (well not literally) but through mail some wonderful ladies and whilst I value their custom I consider them friends too, which brings me to the real meaning of DARETOBE.
We do not JUST sell clothes! Every piece of clothing I source is tried on by me. Every listing and description is written from the heart, I could not list any piece on my site that I would not wear or buy myself.
I travel Europe extensively, am present at every trade show in Europe I can get to and I take great pride in finding new up and coming designers. If they are genuine and passionate about what they create I will buy it and bring it to you!
The very heart of daretobe is to be cutting edge in Lagenlook (layering) fashion, and offer styling tips and genuine advise on any potential purchase. It is not about A SALE it is about ALL WOMEN...NO MATTER THEIR SHAPE OR SIZE looking and feeling wonderful. I am genuinely happy to help and offer my opinons & service to you.
