1. Cutting the existing straps
Most likely, your bra has sewn-in straps, so cut each strap at both ends, leaving enough to fold over and sew in the front and back of the bra.

Tip: If the cup of the bra is thin enough, you might want to fold the tip to create the fabric hook  

 

2. Making the fabric hooks
Fold over the piece of bra strap in the front and back to make the fabric hook. Sew it together securely.
