Hello, thank you for reading the "floralarty" about me feature.

I am Andy Bowdin, aka floralarty on ebay

and aka fotofool on Alan and Barrys craft forum (but not there too often these days too busy with ebaying)

"floralarty" as a username was conceived after consideration of our interests and pastimes.  After I suffered a stroke, and whilst recovering my original intention was to sell off surplus craft materials which my wife and I had accumulated over many years craft hobbying and Andrea's part time teaching of crafts to the disabled contacts we have both made in our "retiring" years. However as I proceeded it became very obvious that "ebaying" can get under the skin and practically "become a way of life" ??? It has helped in my recovery and keeps the old head going.

I now deliberately source and buy in items that I perceive will "come in handy some day" in order to have them for our own use and the extras I put up for sale on ebay. 

Personal well cared for family items from our own and family members homes are also being sold as "used" if we no longer need them. 

I am a great believer in value for money and fair play. I have strong views on good packaging and customer service being a priority.

I will wherever possible combine postage, however the Royal Mail pricing structure is full of anomolies and it can on many occassions cost the sender MORE to put all the items into one pack, rather than simply sending separate packs as individual items. I will discount postage providing that these anomolies do not select against me.  Rest assured the highest total postage you will be expected to pay is that shown in my listings.  I do trust you will appreciate this. I ALWAYS obtain proof of posting.

Larger heavier bulkier orders may, at my discretion, be sent by other delivery systems. I currently use DHL and PARCELFORCE.   Under these circumstances a signature is required from the recipient.  I will always advise you if I choose to send by other than the "Royal Mail" post system

I am very patient with genuine queries (perhaps its the beta blockers ?)

I usually collate all the previous daytime and any overnight incoming orders at home in the early hours before taking them to the local post office. I post mid afternoon, trying to avoid ques?? at our local post office.     If you pay before 0900 hrs your purchase will usually be posted that day. Pay after 0900 hrs and it is more likely to go through the next day.
