Welcome to elljays*emporium (although those of you who visit Prego and other boards will know me better as *Layla*).
I have a whole manner of interests, but I mainly use Ebay for my love of Barbie, Tyler Wentworth (and other 16" dolls, including sYbarites), Jem & The Holograms dolls and old 1970's & '80's 'Jackie' annuals. I've been an Ebay member since Sunday, 28 May, 2000 . Please don't panic if I'm late in sending your auction winnings, although I try and get everything out within a week. I work full time, and I have no car, so I have to lug all the parcels to work with me so I can queue for an hour at the post office during my lunch break. So I often wait until a majority of my auctions have been paid for before posting them out.I will send out an email saying that I've despatched your item, however if you haven't heard from me after a week, just send me an email to 'remind' me, as I have a tendancy to be a bit of a scatter-brain too! As I collect Barbie's and Jem dolls from the 1980's, I often have 'duplicates', so they all go on here. All the vintage dolls I sell I try to restore to their former glory (unless otherwise stated). I also collect larger fashion dolls, such as Tyler Wentworth, Gene Marshall and the sYbarites, and sometimes I have a good clean-out of the things I no longer need. The small print
- PAYMENT: In the UK, Paypal (I will only accept cheques/postal orders if I 'know' you). Elsewhere, Paypal (in either terling, US$ or €Euro's) ONLY. I DON'T charge a fee for using Paypal.
- Payment is to be received within 7 days. However, I'll gladly wait longer if you cannot make this time, provided you contact me. If no contact is made after 7 days, a payment reminder will be sent, and another will be if no contact is made 14 days after the auction ended. I send 2 payment reminders before issuing a non-paying bidder warning.
- SHIPPING:In the UK, items will be sent by first class recorded delivery; the rest of the world be sent via Royal Mail Airsure or Royal Mail International Signed For.
- In the UK, if the item sells for more than 4, then it is advisable that the item be sent by 'Special Delivery'. However, this will increase the postage.
- I DON'T charge extra for packaging, as I reuse most of the packaging that I get. I only charge for postage. I get all my postage costs from the Royal Mail website.
