After having purchased many Art Deco lamps for my personal collection I soon became tired of first having to repair or rewire almost every lamp I purchased.
I then moved on to buy, refurbish and sell Art Deco Lamps that only needed a bulb to begin gracing the home of any buyer....That was three years ago

Every Diomede lamp goes through the very same high profile examination and renovation and includes the following: -
Each original lamp is fully stripped down to examine all parts.
Due to corrosion, the threaded centre rod is invariably replaced including securing nuts.
The weighted bases are checked and the cast iron inserts are wire scrubbed and either re painted in a matching green paint or re covered in the highest quality green illiards tablebaize to match the lamps original finish.
All chrome is checked for wear and professionally re chromed where necessary.
New electrical components include a new chrome light switch, push button base switch or in line switch, new cabling, including earthing and a new three pin plug.
A new chrome or re chromed gallery is then finally used to house an original shade and then the lamp is finally tested.
All new parts are as close to original as one can possibly get.
