Inch by inch its a sinch .... or so they say!

We are two Mums who met through a love of all kinds of crafts.  Michele and Helen had run the craft stall at their children's school fayre and turned this hobby into a thriving business over a period of 12 years. 

We started with selling craft supplies in the boot of our car and cold calling on local playgroups and nursery schools.  After building a regular customer base we then held two mega craft sales one at Easter and another before Christmas each year and increased sales dramatically.  Having initially used our utility rooms for storage and then the garage we soon needed bigger premises which led us to renting a small building locally, and we are now in bigger premises in a nearby village. 

Along with our main craft supplies we have developed a range of cut out shapes and kits for the education industry.  We are now major suppliers to the education industry in the UK and design and produce packs for for many companies.  Having now purchased specialist equipment for cutting in big quantities we have developed a range of die cuts exclusive to us for the card making and scrapbooking industry.  We have also worked with some of the largest restaurant chains in the Uk providing distraction packs for children.

Over the last few years we have developed a successful website for customers to buy direct from us.  craftykits.co.uk  We also travel to Asia at least once a year purchasing products such as sequins, fabric flowers and wiggly eyes.
