Who am I? - Why do I do it?

Hi, my name is Janet Humphrey. I've been very happily married to Dave for 29 years & we have two grown-up sons - Steve (27) & Tom (25) - both have now flown the nest. As I now have time on my hands, I decided to sell things on eBay, which was first introduced to me by Tom who said, "Go on Mum, give it a try. You'll be amazed what people will buy!!" And I am!! It started with a bucketful of Lego that Dave found in the loft after the boys had left - they didn't want it, so I stupidly said, "That whatever money it fetched they could have" ~ which turned out to be £90 each!! Needless to say, that got me interested ;0)

All my items come from a smoke free home & have been washed/cleaned (where practical) before sending them to their new owners. I always try to give a honest desciption - if things are a bit tatty, then I say so - (what's the point of lying & then getting hassle!!)

All measurements/sizes are approx. but given in good faith.

I try to post every 2/3 days ( NOT weekends ). P+P (S+H) is clearly stated on every description ( I know how annoying it is to have to ask all the time!! ). Please be aware that I sometimes use clean recycled packing materials.

I always answer e~mails ( normally within 24 hours - unless I'm away, in which case I state this on the description ) & leave feedback after it's been left for me.
