Welcome to a real competitive ebay auction, a charismatic auction
with the objective of selling top quality, unique and priceless jewellery
from a bygone age Often with no reserves!



Quality hand made ANTIQUE jewellery, whose makers are sadly
now pushing up daisies , alot of the time their skills
died alongside them..unrepeatable quality!!!
History can never be repeated but we can look back on it and "feel it" in our hearts. look at the victorian gold locket below
old cut sparkling real diamond eyes and gorgeous true to life pastel
enamelling,this locket has been passed down at "least" three generations of a family and more..mother to eldest daughter most probably...its still in perfect condition..i dont think i could come close to express to you how all its life it has been cherished and loved by each of its owners..i can tell this by its condition for such a fragile item of jewellery..the depths of intimacy and love and emotion this locket has seen and has been bestowed on it is impossible to put into words..ITS UNIMAGINABLE LOVE!!..every single person who owned it must have loved it to death to be still in this condition today..( i know im repeating myself but im just trying to help you see what i see about this locket at this very moment in time)..it is still as perfect today as when it was sold in the of 1800s..it had an aura to me as soon as i bought it and i really regret selling it because its beauty grows on me everytime i see its picture again :-(..its truely jewellery fit for a mermaid

We genuinely love selling jewellery on ebay, we buy items for their special qualities and its condition for its age.sometimes we have to pay a price we dont want to pay for many special items we buy..its sometimes way to expensive to us on first inspection!! but some antique dealers are tighter than a camels bum in a sand storm so we have too or we lose the opportunity and we may never see another item like it again in our lives so we gamble and try to buy it and then we can learn about it.. below is a picture of the antique furniture dealers annual get together ;-)




as the days go by,often as not we realise we didnt pay to much because where else am i going to buy such a special victorian item from again..like the diamond locket above (if you study the close up picture of the locket further down the page look into her flirtatious eyes..her burgundy red lips pouting away,you can taste her beauty..we could instantly << sense >> her beauty straight away..if we wanted that victorian locket again tomorrow were could we go to buy one ? one as beautiful ? and its history ? with the same quality and in the same condition ? how much would we pay ? im certain it would be alot more than we sold that one for im sure because they are so much rarer now..we dont know to be truthful how deep we would dig into our pocket until we saw another,we do know the prettier the face the more joy it gives to its owner which in turn makes it that more sought after/desirable an item..!!



we just try and find very special rare pieces which takes alot of effort from us..and then make a decision on the price we are willing to pay on our gut instincts..just because it seems very expencive when we are told the price of it at first glance,doesent mean it is expencive..it means its beauty we havent seen or realised just yet..jewellery grows on you!! the instant we have paid for it and walk away we can FEEL we made the right decision from our gutt instincts.
..i promise you its nearly always right when you get a gutt feeling about something..you << sense >> it..its an inbuilt human protection we all have..your gutt feeling comes from the pit of your stomach,its the same place that makes you realise you feel unwell...its like something dawning on you very quickly..it just all falls into place in your mind as being right and realization hits you like a thunderbolt

some of the items we have bought are as rare as rocking horse muck !! if somebody really wants to wear and love its hand made unique history,sometimes they have to dig deep into their pockets especially if its highly desired :-o..that hurt makes us all appreciate it so much more , to love and cherish its beauty and its rareness.each and EVERY DIAMOND is unique and has its own 3 billion years of history (its soul genesis)we have also learnt over the years that each diamond has its own unique secret lure...if the piece of jewellery like the locket above is hand made there could only be one of its kind...in the world..and the skill of making it could have died alongsides the maker..!!





as you will read further down the page about how i bought my ring and the stomach churning hell i was going through as i was buying it knowing i could lose it if another dealer saw it..i had the added worry that if i was making the wrong decision i would of lost everything :-(.....but it was a totally different experience once i bought it and knew it was mine forever,it was an exhillerating feeling !!a feeling that erupts from the core of your body ! you feel the gravity of its intensity and your mind feels like its flowering "its unique lure" is... think of two magnets and you face them together and they snap together and its impossible to stop it happening if the magnets are close enough..thats what i mean by the gravity of its intencity..i hope you understand how iv worded how i felt at that moment in time.. ((a bit deep but im trying to express the feelings i felt in words)



we never buy any of our items with our ears we only ever buy items with our eyes ;-)..(we learnt that lesson 20 years ago !!)..we don't want to keep the items we buy,its our job is to sell them and buy more,( with the exception of ' My ring ' ) we love to deal! We know alot of dealers who want to sell every week to us..and we hate to turn things down we have not seen before..(like the fabulous enamelled skeleton ring pictured above)we need to sell and keep turning over the money to keep buying.

So if you see anything in our shop you like,make us your offer because that's what we want, and if it's more than we`ve paid, you've got a deal.we often buy maybe 10 items at a time swap or sell 6 or 7 of them on the day to other jewellery dealers and their are often 2 or 3 items we have left that are into profit..so you never know unless you ask..



we have learnt to to have skin as thick as a rhinos so we dont easily get offended an offer is better than no offer so please put your offer in.. we can only say no and that word hurts nobody..unless its said by your executioner ;-))

We get up each day with the lark and travel the country trekking
many exhausting but rewarding miles each week in search
of exclusive and unique antique gold jewellery. it's not easy but
we are rewarded by the exciting prospect of finding
even more impressive pieces, antique exquisite rare jewellery that
it is impossible not to fall in love with!

we have learnt over the years "the bigger the risk the greater the rewards,but the harder the fall if we get our gut feelings wrong.but we try and try and try again...until we learn what people really want to buy from us which is quality and a uniqueness in a jewel..hopefully you will see by what we list that we have learnt alot over the past two decades of our lives.and realise we really try with a passion in what we do.

Most of our jewellery is fresh to the open market, bought last
week ourselves, and it has never been on sale since it was
first sold in those fabulously beautiful Art Deco jewellery shops!!!! In Paris!!
Just try and imagine walking into one of those fabulous ornate french 1920s jewellery shops,a tinkle of a bell as you open the door to enter..it gives me shivvers down my spine thinking about it!!below is a picture of an old english jewellry shop,the history is their but its without the romance of a french jewellery shop ill find a picture to add on here soon....

You might doubt me here and find this hard to believe but here goes
ill tell you anyway, but When I was 20 years old I bought myself a
fabulous French 3 carat Art Deco (1920s)
Diamond solitaire platinum ring !!fully hallmarked).
It was from the world-renowned Birmingham Bull Ring Antiques Fair.
in 1986 there were three thousand,five hundred stalls
back then, we love to get to antique fairs early !! it was 5 o' clock in the morning !!
it was a little cold but thankfully dry and it had just got light.



it felt like a normal everyday fair as i was tottering around the car park looking for dealers i thought i might of known,then i noticed out of the corner of my eye this French dealer who I recognised
from buying off him at another fair.
He recognised me straight away and he had a twinkle in his eye,and I could
tell by the big smiling expression on his face aswell that
he had a very nice item of jewellery for sale
he was a very tall imposing type of man with unkempt wavey hair and a set of white teeth that you couldnt miss....
He reached into his very deep pockets and pulled out this large art deco hat-shaped
green velvet ring box and then he pushed the button at the front and it opened as if the lid was in slow motion !! like a lift/elevator door..it had quality right down to the hinge mechanism of the box!! it was like seeing a magic trick..i saw it happen..but it left me lost for words..sort of puzzled..i tried not to look too eager when i first saw the ring!!so with a quivver in my voice i beckoned him to pass it to me with a small wave of my hand !! (it fitted perfectly, snugly);-)) it was truely gorgeous
to look at..its shimmer shook me to the core of my body -
Even in that morning's dull light I could see sparks of light
flickering off every single facet of the diamond..and I just melted with an intense desire for it..i could feel my heart pounding out of my chest!!
i knew i had fallen head over heals in love with it !!...it was love at first sight !!




and here it is ! its a diamond that really sparkles




even though it was so early in the morning i knew that before long other dealers would be walking around very soon!!
i knew they would want it as much as i did..and they where a lot richer than me which in turn gives them a heck of alot more buying power than me!! .Neither Carl nor I had ever spent so
much money on an item of this quality before..it was a kings ransom to me !!.I was very nervous and
very very anxious not to lose it though ;-)...my anxiety level was at
99% !! just below panic level !!i was standing in front of him holding the ring with a vice like grip..i felt DIZZY with a passion for it..i could not pass it him back i just couldnt !!! he may have put it back into his deep pockets and i would of lost my chance of owning it FOREVER!!..i could feel this bead of sweat at the back of my neck slowly moving down my back..i was focusing on it just trying to bide more time to absorb its rare beauty until i was certain in myself i was doing the right thing..but his stare was overwhelming me !!.. I knew I had to make
an enormous gut-wrenching decision very quickly before the
next dealer came along..i asked him for the fourth time "can it be a any cheaper ??? " and for the fourth time he said in an ever impatient tone of voice "but my dear your the first person who has seen it" he spoke in a lovely pigeon english french accent..so then i i had decided and with the surety from the pit of my stomach i said yes !! ok !!right ill have it !! so i took the plunge over the giant cliff of destiny...and bought it!!,
it cost me every last penny I had in the world !!
i was trembling by that time but i had the biggest smile in the world on my face within seconds!!!. i could of munched my way through the biggest and the bitterist ? lemon in the whole wide universe !! and a big beaming smile would of burst back onto my face again within seconds of finishing it !!..im certain of that..nothing could of removed it ;-)!!!! i guess he knew at the time how much i wanted it..ive always found it difficult to hide my feelings..i wear the blooming things on my sleeves ;-))



I can remember I got a magical tingling feeling throughout my entire body, it was
unadulterated absolute elation surging through my whole being! Within seconds
of buying it I ran round like a headless chicken stumbling into numerous
people who were beginning by then to unload their cars..
i was trying to find Carl because I needed to plead with him for some of his
money before he spent up too!



We relish in our tasks and challenges, can you tell ?? That ring has
continued to give me untold fabulous feelings and immense pleasure for the last 18 years of my life.

when i wake up on some days i can tell its going to be"one of those darker days than normal" infact the south african diamond miners toiling two miles below the veld can see more light than me !!...straight away i feel down and lifeless and getting out of bed feels a hard task to acheive.i feel like im in this deep dark pit of despair and my life feels like its pointless to me its an awful place for your mind to be...so i put my head back under the duvet and retrace my steps on the day i bought my ring..slowly but surely i get back to that day and before long im paying the parking meter on that fateful day again..i know im in my (pick me up)dream and i "know" whats coming next !! im getting so excited in my thoughts again..its a warm feeling!! as im walking towards the "way out" sign out of the car park....going down the steps i start jumping down them in twos and threes,fours !! im like an excited 4 year old with no fears of falling (i did a sixer once ;-))...very quickly i got down to where the antique dealers cars were parked..they were all brimming with stock as i walked the line shining my torch into the backs of the cars..

i was looking for display cases..that told me they should have jewellery for sale with them..then id pluck up a bit of courage and tap on the window and ask them if they had any gold lockets or large cameos or anything that might be of interest to me..most of them were as i found out were very eager to start selling and often id get a prior viewing of what they had bought that week..but as i was walking along in my thoughts i could again see out of the corner of my minds eye the tall figure of the french dealer again and all the intoxicating feelings of that day flood my mind again like a tidal wave of energy..

i start to feel the same magical excitement that i got back then aswell..its as clear as day to me :-))..he then flips open the ring box again and i see my sparkling ring glittering away at me !!...i feel that same exhileration again !! it explodes into my brain..its like a chemical explosion which strengthens up my whole being.. !!!



I once saw a film which had the same affect on me,it was called samson & delilah which has always inspired me..samson pushed over the two main stone columns in a gladiators arena..after samson was drugged and captured his captors held him down and removed his eyes with a red hot poker..samson is in the middle of the picture below


this is the story line as i remember it..after delilah had betrayed samson
by putting some sort of potion into his drink..


samson was shackled in
leg irons and attached to another prisoner and marched for many
WEEKS to the colloseum ,along the arduous journey samsons guards didnt "spare the whip"
on the bedraggled but unbowed samson.. at the colloseum he was lead through the
magnificent golden main gates into the arena were he rested for a
moment on a broken step below a caged huge beast of a lion !!! he could
hear its ferocious SNARLING and gnawing on the bars of its cage in overwhelming
desperation to escape from its final kingdom !! within moments samson
had a growing empathy for the lion embedding deep into his heart..
samson really could feel the lions tortured SPIRIT...thats when the IRON entered samsons soul !!

in samsons NEW pitch black world he envisaged how HE wanted to die
His choices were to meekly lay down his own spirit to his captors or to
"go out on his sheild" and FIGHT BACK!! in that moment the seed of samsons
all conquering spirit was sewn and it roared into the annals of history!!
..they were just about to put samson into the blood stained pit of the arena
for a humiliating death at the hands of a heavily armed gladiator

in a very cruel one sided game for his captors amusement
after his shackles where removed samson asked the other prisoner to lead
him to were the columns were...as he touched the two main columns in the arena
he could feel the sheer size of the crowd with the amount of raucus crys
they were baying for samsons blood and their vile sneering laughter
and callous chants of death to samson booming into his ears..

samson first pushed away at the columns one at a time , the crowd saw him
and laughed hysterically at his efforts to move them , the crowd were
showing no mercy with their putred bile aimed at samson,undaunted by this
samson took a deep breath and stood TALL inbetween each of the columns
and reached out to each side and with a caressing tender touch he felt
each column and then with all the mite he could muster and an UNSHAKEABLE WILL he started to push at
them again with both arms fully outstretched , samson knew that once
those two columns came tumbling down the whole arena would come crashing
down around him and crush all the demonic beings that were taunting
his soul , as the columns began to slightly move his contorted face
RAGED with the wrath of an angry god !!!!, samsons strenght and guille had returned
to him, samsons revenge couldnt of tasted any sweeter to him as the
columns began to creak a little more and a little bit more!!

((i was still at school back then so timbuuuuuuuuuuuuur i screamed in glee at the t.v set for samson i just knew
he could do it i could feel it in my heart)) !! in samsons courageous darkness he could hear the ear
piercing screams of the crowd as they scattered in TERROR as the large
marble blocks came raining down from the sky,the people in the crowd
attempted to run for the gates in absolute disbelief at what the "broken"
samson had just done, it was etched on their petrified faces!! "the actors
victorious expression in that film really caught that moment in history for
me, it showered my whole being with positive thoughts about what this life
is all about!! it showed me that you cannot "BEAT DOWN" a samson spirit !!
it is unbreakable and doesnt give in to nothing or nobody!!" that
surely must of been inscribed on samsons epitath!! hes inspiring and he
also taught me was that when i hit a brick wall in my life and i think i
cannot carry on anymore that i have to "DIG IN" and find my inner reserves
because we all have them !! you just have to !!! believe it !!! and find them and
smash that wall down with a resolute contemptable attitude!!smash it to piecies like its your worst enemy
and never ever give in!!

if that doesent inspire anybody who saw that film or read the book i
dont know what could and i must be cuckoo or a cuckoo it inspires me still today!!
(anyway back to the last paragraph about my diamond ring)..i feel like i can do absolutely anything with this new mindset
of mine by remembering how i bought my ring , that feeling is embedded
into my soul very quickly and i vault out of bed still feeling exhilerated
with my new found energy,i run into the bathroom and start to fill the sink with cold water i cup my hands and drink it faster than it can fill the sink
and i splash away at my face just feeling pure happiness at being alive !!
i run with that feeling inside me all day long!!, there isnt a better
feeling in the world for me..!! Thats how your jewellery should affect
your life aswell, it should enrich your life not only in a monetary sense
but a belief that theres no impossibilities in life as well.
.AND as a reminder to "SEIZE THE DAY" live it !!

many many times in my life ive been told that i cant do
something or other iv heard the words "its not possible" "dont be stupid"
" and to grow up and stop talking rubbish" (and thats just off some of my school teachers ;-)
when i left school alot more expletives were used :-O ..).
even more times than i can remember from people who thought they were
giving me GOOD advice in a straight to the point sort of way but when i
blatantly ignore them and i just do it..they say "how did you do that ?
so i tell them that unless
you try you will never know !! so pee off :-o..any acheivement or problem
apart from death is possible to resolve and your not here when your time
is up so you shouldnt worry about that either, what do you think samson
thought as he was pushing away at those magnificent columns ?would he of thought "ohh bugger mi old soldier"
but im going to die at the hands of a merciless gladiator with
a rather large sword so i had better stop pushing ? nope never ever ;-) his mind and his
relentless spirit would have been consumed by the oncoming ecstasy in his
acheivement of striking back with a thunderous FURY !! at his captors for
what they had done to him !! all seemed lost to everyone else but samson !!

samsons historic destiny was back in his own hands again !!
the fear to FAIL was a million miles from his thoughts!! i must of been fourteen
or fifteen when i watched that film and later in that year a billy ocean
song came into the uk charts it was called "when the going gets tough !!
the tough get going" to this day when i hear that song on the radio
it reminds me of samsons plight and it puts all my problems into perspective ;-)



Paris in the 'roaring twenties' was a very special time and place in history.
We have always thought of it as being the very essence of romance.
Art Deco Paris, it just oozes quality in jewellery... the larger than
life gangster 'scar face' Al Capone was alive and bootlegging his wares
around windy Chicago city, the Titanic was on its fateful maiden voyage and
Bonnie and Clyde died in a hail of bullets for showing great
spirit and never giving in no matter what the odds against them.
They were on their lawless mission to live life to its fullest with all guns blazing
they died trying to beat the law...





I often think about the glamorous glitzy 1920s balls/dances my
ring has attended, all those beautifully dressed ladies,in their jewelled gowns that expressed all the pizazz of that
fabulous historic era in time...



try and imagine those
glittering 1920s French ballrooms!!..in my dreams i picture myself on the left of the picture below looking for my prince charming ;-))



Huge, vast colourful mosaic dance floors and enormous glittering
crystal chandeliers hanging from high, colourful, scenic ceilings,
each chandelier looking like an ocean of twinkling white glistening diamonds

i think your unique antique jewellery should stir up your hidden inner emotions...

The high society events my ring has seen
and visited enchants me more and more every day...
All the conversations it has listened to, the very
elegantly dressed high society lady who would have worn it



those tender kisses!! Those passionate moments!!...the love it was
given with ("chut ma petite, mon amour, ma femme!!! je t'aime...")
in the roaring 1920s, in between the wars. A really historicaly happy time in history...
ART DECO France, in the most romantic city on earth...PARIS !!



You are not just wearing a piece of exquisite craftsmanship,
but a token of love and emotion, stretching through the years!
i promise you The butterflies are fluttering away in my tummy as I type right now...
these are the feelings we want you to feel also... we really do.

below is a 15ct gold hand made antique gold wedding ring which is Well over a century old, i think it makes a mockery of the wedding bands sold in high street shops of today , they are bland in comparison , this ring is steeped in a fabulous unique history..with the hand tooled foliates carved into the gold one wrong slip and its back into the melting pot and start again !!

It made the maker focus on the job in hand ;-) 100s of people "died" making this very rare 15ct carat gold and it needed an act of parliment to stop it being made because so many goldsmiths were dropping dead at a very young age making it , the gold is mixed with mercury (thats the liquid thats in thermometers/barrometers)to produce this beautiful colour of gold but the fumes killed some of our cleverest goldsmiths who made it within a very few years

15ct golds colour has a very warm antique bloom and this ring has 3 different colours of gold in it!! very very rare.... it is still ilegal to make 15ct gold today and its scarcity is very evident to us on our travels......its history real pure history and very highly desired

if you was getting married tomorrow wouldnt you truely want it above a modern ring thats made by a machine yesterday ? i got goosebumps when i first saw this wedding ring,if i had one wish in my lifetime i would ask to know the history of each victorian/georgian piece of jewellery ive ever bought..i know there would be lots of sadness associated with them,but im certain theres alot of happiness too, thats why i love history because you cant change it, but you can feel it in your heart and history floats our boat ;-).!!

We are sure we will push our heads directly under ebays blood-laden guillotine
and show you how much we believe in our jewellery because
we have confidence and an absolute faith in our items' quality.
But we don't always get it right...

We understand this is an auction and it needs a lot of competition for our
items to reach their full potential: we know it needs more than one
bidder,and we think a no reserve auction really will grab your attention.
If it doesn't, we know we will lose a lot of numbered paper,(money),
but we have other items and we are big enough to take the
blows now and again.

Each week balances itself; some items we win on, some we lose on:
our objective is the pinnacle of our careers or the end of it in abject failure...!



We both started ebay with the sole intention of achieving more in our work.
That doesn't mean we want to make mountains of money - our biggest fear
is not having enough money to go and buy more the next week...
Money is numbered paper to us and with more of that numbered paper we can
risk more and buy bigger and better items...



We are genuinely thrilled when people say how beautiful our jewellery is
after they have bought it, not before. We have no intention of
parasiting off the gullible,we love putting real effort into our work.





We will list £1000 items with no reserves and show our willingness to take
major risks. We began and survived on our gut feelings and our passion
for over 20 years and our gut feelings are that you will want to join
in the excitement when it begins.

We love the items we buy at antique fairs so much that we argue on
the way home as to who is taking them home to their house to clean them.
There's no better feeling than when you buy a unique, hand-made antique.
our latest item we bought was an edwardian 15ct gold, sapphire and seed pearl heart shaped locket with pictures inside
there are a few words written on the back of each picture...
sentiments which give a real insight into the character of that
person and sometimes a few words that say everything !!...
"thank you for everything my "sweetheart",they are after death, words to each other...
real sentiment from a loyal love... from the edwardian era..the strenght of these
emotions are what inspires us..we love finding old intaglio/seal rings and reading the old sayings on them..YEILD NOT TO ADVERCITY-(never give in nomatter how impossible things seem at that the time)..WHILE I BREATHE I HOPE-(keep going and going and going nothing can stop me)..THE EAGLE DOES NOT CATCH FLIES (aim for the stars and higher you can do it....TO DO WITHOUT SPEAKING-(deeds not words)...well thats how we read their meanings...jewllerys history has grabbed our hearts a long long time ago,its our lifelong passion,our drug,its our everything..the adrenilin rush we can get when we meet through the day at antique fairs is unsurpassable sometimes..we can tell either one of us has bought something very nice by the skip in each others step as we approach each other or just by looking at each other when we meet..its a hidden SMIRK between eachg other that reveals all..an excited feeling which comes from the heart..(its very difficult to put into words !! but im trying)it exceeds most pleasures we can get out of life..its shared effort to acheive a dream.its not for the the money we put the effort in,
but we have to make a profit so we can buy and handle more items to list on ebay...bigger and better items to show you!!!we love a risk its exciting !! it makes us realize we are alive..its what drives us,its our passion

journey; participate in our exciting auctions and you will see for yourself..over the last 5 years most of our jewellery is bought from furniture dealers who we have got to know well over the last two decades.so we have learnt which ones to visit early at antique fairs..if you think about it a furniture dealer is the first person who gets the call from relatives or the executors of the will..furniture dealers dont really understand jewellery so when they offer a price for the contents of a deceaseds house its only based on the furniture they want,most of them count the jewellery as a bit of a bonus,so its all profit to them when they sell it on !! some of them are very hard nosed but ive charmed quite a few of them over the years..when i would count the money out in front of them i can see them salavating watching me(i guess thats how a lap dancer feels with their clients salavating watching them dance

Our reserve auctions are what we genuinely believe is well under the
retail value for that particular piece of antique jewellery.
Our no reserve auctions are our fun, we have faith in the items we sell,
we are certain our items are sought-after, we are not arrogant, big-headed or full
of ourselves - we are just confident and believe in what we are buying and selling.i treat everybody i meet with humility..just how id like to be treated when im dealing with someone or meeting them for the first time..but sometimes at atantique fairs i meet some very arrogant people who dont get out much...and take my humility as a weakness :-( they try to belittle me and try to make me out to be stupid,i can remember teachers at school doing that to me and it really gets my goat up !! my blood boils and i think to myself you cant label me as a stupid little kid...so i let them have it with all six barrels straight between the eyes :-o !!i tell them in a very fourthright manner with some very choice words ;-)!!when push comes to shove i am far from weak..its their weakness thats their downfall..i didnt get this far by being weak i have fought tooth and nail for what i believe in ;-) but we have all met these,lets say to be nice...HORRIBLE type of people so i guess you know what i mean
When we used to sell at antique fairs other dealers would chase our car
onto the car park as we were finding a space to see what we had bought that week thats because they knew we could
buy right; what I mean by that is we buy at the right price the very rare jewellery.

We "live" jewellery and we both have, all our adult lives. Our faith
in our jewellery gives us the ability to take major risks, we love to let
it roll and gamble with a no reserve. We always try to list with
no reserves when our confidence is high and bidding is brisk, so the more bids we
get the more confidence it gives us to list without a reserve another time.




Carl takes all the photos for our listings and he trys to show you
that the quality is in the detail when it comes to hand-made antique jewellery.

We still feel like we are on a steep learning curve with ebay though,
especially with spelling as I'm sure you can tell but its not for
the want of trying! School was a big inconvenience to our day when we were younger,
but we got this far and we won't let anything stop us.Carrying on the
challenges we face makes our job the best job in the world and we will
never ever ever ever ever give in or change: we are chasing our dream
and enjoying nearly every minute of it... we are 'characters'...
we have a strength of character; we don't want to paint ourselves
yellow and jump into ebays large bowl of custard,

very exciting. We have an unquenchable thirst for buying and
selling unique antique gold jewellery that has never been displayed for sale
since it was first offered for sale in the art deco/Victorian/Georgian period.

We love owning it and handling it even if it is only for a short time...
we have sold well over one million pounds' worth of jewellery on ebay
and with not a single unhappy customer. Sometimes after auctions we get winners
phoning to pay by credit card and they can't read out their numbers
they are shaking that much...

our ebay id is named after my dog captain he lived until he
was 17 years old and followed me round most of the outside antique fairs..
i say he followed me is not quite the truth often if he smelt food he was
in front of me !! he built up a large round of treats over the years ;-)
he was ginger biscuits mad!! and he was partial to the odd sausage on toast
..dont spare the butter ;-))!! i miss him terribly because
he was quite a little character and
never once did he try to stay in his bed when i got up early
to go to a fair..so hence captains spirit is in our ebay name
to keep his memory alive to us forever n ever n ever..

when we got him he was a tiny little scruffy ball of fluff that
couldnt climb a 5 inch step , he had been abandoned in a cardboard box
with his brother and sister at our local animal shelter
captain (aka flip his brother was called flop as they called them)
he was approx 10 / 12 weeks old lakeland terrier,
we took him under our wing but couldnt think of our own name for him,
(flippp flippp come here boy !!didnt quite sound right to us )
so we decided we would to go into a betting shop and name him after
the winner of the next race that was on the screen it was late afternoon
so off we popped into the local bookies

The winning horse was called ' Captain Holly ' ,
obviously because he was a boy Captain was his name
10 years later i had a little baby girl and can you guess what
i called her ??? !!!! HOLLY !!!!the horse that came second was called muraliferrin..we would of got some nice anagrams out of that name...theres always a way if you try hard enough anything is possible..our motto is "never give in" keep going no matter how impossible things seem at the time..keep going..and going..onwards..when all our zest for buying jewellery has left us we will know deep down in our hearts that we tried our hardest to achieve something..even if we fail..we tried to live our dream..no one can really knock us for that....but we never give in !! keep going nothing can stop you if you keep trying!!! if you live life really believing you can win you have won.. we are trying to grasp our lifes meaning like everybody else and antique jewellery stirs our emotions !! life is what you make it as the old saying goes!!
