Thank you for taking to time to look at my About Me page.
I am mainly a self-taught artist, although I studied A Level Art in college, but its all about practice, practice, PRACTICE ....as with everything in life! I have been drawing portraits for over 25 years.
Animals are a passion of mine and I have always had dogs in my life. I have recently started to build up a collection of dog portraits and I intend to draw the top 20 breeds of dogs in the UK and USA.
I also love to draw portraits of people - each face unique and beautiful in its own way. Being a passionate sports fan and a keen golfer - I especially love drawing those sports stars at the top of their game.

The prints available in my auctions are all taken from my original artwork and are my perception and my impression of that person. They are printed onto high quality 160gsm paper. The prints are mainly Limited Editions (unless stated), and each will come individually signed and numbered by myself. Once they are gone, they are gone! Original artwork - the original drawings that these prints are taken from are sometimes available to buy so please visit my ORIGINAL ART FOR SALE section in my ebay shop.
Each print comes in a purpose made plastic sleeve and sent in a hardbacked envelope and so are as protected as I can possibly get them, so that they arrive with you in good condition and ready to frame! |

COPYRIGHT ISSUES
(boring stuff but unfortunately this issue has become necessary to highlight)
I am a member of the VeRO programme (Verified Rights Ownership Programme) and therefore I can have removed any listings that are deemed to violate my copyright. I can end any auctions of items that ILLEGALLY utilise my art and any offenders will also be reported to eBay, and subsequently be subject to account suspension.
Making copies of an original print is an offence and is stealing from the artist. If any one sees an illegal item of mine elsewhere in an auction - if you notify me I'll be happy to send you two free prints as a thank you.
To summarise: NONE of Arcadia Portraits works may be reproduced in any form or by any means, without written permission of D. Jones. Purchasing a print or original artwork from me does not give the purchaser the right to reproduce or create works from the purchased item.
