My eBay Auctions
To make life easier for purchasers and hopefully myself too, I have PayPal, FastPay and NoChex accounts that should be automatically included in the details of any of my auctions.
Most of the things that I offer for sale are my own but I also occasionally sell items on behalf of others. Any images shown will be of the actual item for sale unless otherwise clearly stated in the auction details.
For details of additional costs inherent in any of my auctions, please see below but also always refer to the item details. It is always my intention that each should be concise in it's own right but sometimes a little clarification is essential.

And now for the important bit ...
Before you bid on any of the items listed for sale below, please take a moment to peruse these comments on what I expect of you if you bid and win:
The buyer always pays postage at cost.
I will send the item either 1st Class Recorded, Standard Parcel or Airmail as appropriate and pass on the cost from Royal Mail to the successful bidder. I will also retain a Certificate of Posting for use in the unlikely event that the item goes missing in the post. This is not an admission of liability and I will not accept any such responsibility. If you want insurance, I can send the item by Special Delivery so long as you agree to pay the costs. Likewise, if you want to save money and there are options, I'd be happy to oblige.
I don't send items for approval
If you can't see all that you want from the pictures provided then please ask questions. Where appropriate, I include pictures or scans of the item being sold. If the picture is not of the actual item being sold, I say so. I will happily answer as many questions as are necessary to ensure that you know what it is that you are bidding on.
I expect to receive your payment within seven days.
Once I have advised you of the actual amount that I want to receive in order to despatch your goods, the clock is running. If after seven full days - that's a whole week after all - I haven't received your payment, I will have to give consideration to moving on to the next highest bidder. I will do this with regret and totally in accordance with the guidelines set down by eBay but you are warned nonetheless.
Despatch waits until payment has cleared
I use a well-known and major UK high street bank. Cheques therefore take no more than five days to clear. I would prefer it if you put guarantee card details on the reverse of the cheque but this may not speed the process up. If you want it to go faster, I have PayPal and NoChex accounts.
I will leave appropriate feedback.
As soon as your parcel is despatched, I will leave appropriate feedback for you to boost your standing in the eyes of others that you may later do business with. Likewise, if I have to, I will leave negative feedback, bid cancellation or non-payment notices as required.
I expect to receive feedback.
Once you've received your parcel, I'd be grateful if you'd leave appropriate feedback too but remember that comments cannot be retracted. If something is in dispute, then please contact me and I will do my best to resolve it. You do have my email address after all!
If this all seems a little stiff and boring, sorry but there are always those few people who try to ruin it for the majority by bucking the system and pleading ignorance. At least this way we all know what to expect!
I am justifiably proud of my 100% positive feedback and will do that which is reasonable to protect it. I ask you therefore to liaise with me to sort out any disagreement rather than post feedback without giving me this chance. Most problems are caused by insufficient communication - don't be a perpetrator of the same crime!

To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received. Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
