We run our ebay sales to benefit our 'not for profit' organisation ' AFRICAN WOMENS AID NETWORK.
We help women and children though creating small businesses for then so they can support their families. We also give funds for medical treatment and emergency situations.
As the women lift themselves they become part of our network and in turn help us to help others.
We work in Kampala, Nairobi & Mombasa. We work in the slums rather than the countryside, that is where the help is most needed. We also work with the disabled in Kampala.
Children are the future so we try to sponsor as many as we can through school. We are always looking for sponsors in this area. If you want to help you can deal through us or directly with those to be sponsored.
We are in the process of becoming a charity.
There is always a need for donations in money or in kind. The shipping of clothes, computers and other items, particularly company surplus in volume created jobs and funds for our work.
Many of the items we sell on ebay have been donated to us to raise funds.
