So let me introduce myself: I’m Mick and I am based in a small village just outside Canterbury. I have been trading in one way or another for almost as long as I have been involved in re-enactment and larp, which is just over 20 years now.
My first larp adventure was at Treasure Trap at Peckforton castle. Unfortunately, not long after I started going, it closed down. A small group of us started our own group based around Maidstone and Canterbury but we all ended up joining a Viking re-enactment group and the larp group folded. For nearly 15 years most summer weekends were spent at a dark-age re-enactment and larp really took a bit of a back seat. It was not until a couple of years ago that I got bitten by the larp bug again. I started to go to a local group and realized just how much fun it was and how much I missed it.

I will be having my stall (not the one in the top picture) again this year at the Curious Pastimes events again this year so why not come and say hello; I would love to know what you think of my stuff. It is unlikely that I will be setting up at any other events as I enjoy playing too much.
