Lionel is shown in the photograph working at his Grafton Mews Studio in London.
He was one of Englands last button craftsman working in glass.
He worked alone, the buttons being entirely handcrafted & painted. His buttons were used by leading fashion houses of the fifties

I sell the very best of British Knitwear! Whether it be Barrie, Hawico or Ballantyne they are all in 'New' or 'Almost New' condition. Most all are made of Super geelong Lambswool & have been recently bought. None are vintage. The style of the Polo, Crew or Cardigans are contemporary & Classic. Items for sale
Please read my descriptions carefully & look at the photographs too. They are there to help you decide whether the item is right for you. I include measurements, details and a photograph of the item.
If you are unsure, please just email me with your doubts and I will be honest and clear.
I am at my shop everyday except for holidays.
I also do other things to do with my own family, home and garden! So please be patient, I reply pretty quickly to E-mails and purchases.

I will not sell to 'private' bidders unless they have a 'confirmed address' to post to & '100% positive feedback'.

I would prefer that you contact me with any problems to do with my site so that I can have a chance to make things better, rather than leave negative feedback. I will leave feedback when the customer has first left theirs.
New Listings
I change the items for sale on a seasonal basis so that in Spring you will find 'Fresh & Fun' items while in Summer 'Cool Holiday' Items in Autumn there will be 'Warm Knitwear & Crafts' and in Winter 'Stylish Evening Clothes & Christmas presents'. Lots to look forward to!!!!
International Buyers:
Please contact me before bidding to see whether I will post to where you live & to find out the cost of postage! I may not be able to post to you if you have a history of negative feedback. Please enquire first. I normally only post by International Signed for post via Royal Mail!
Posting;
- I Post twice a week.
- I package Carefully and use recycled packageing where possible.
- I label well.
- I keep post office receipts for each item posted.
- Once posted I am no longer responsible for the item so you may want to pay for 'signed for delivery' which will cost more, please ask for this.
