Tomlinsons is the UK's largest antiques trade warehouse, which has become such a local treasure that even the tourist board recommend a visit! 

Everyone is welcome at Tomlinsons and part of our unique character as a trade warehouse is that we also sell direct to the public.  All we ask is that you join our Fine Furniture Club. This costs just £3 for lifetime membership for the whole family and all of your joining fee goes directly to Sight Savers International who hope to end the suffering of needless blindness.  Although, just as you’re used to, you can continue to buy from us over the internet on ebay without becoming a member.

Where are we?

Nestled in the North Yorkshire countryside, we’re situated between York and Wetherby, just five miles from junction 46 on the A1/M.  For directions form the A1/M see below, or get in touch if you’re coming from another direction.  Our postcode is YO26 7QG for those with SatNav.  ( please note if you are using SatNav and coming from the B1224 it may direct you down a dirt track, this is still classed as a road, but it is only a farm track in reality. It may be best to ignore this turning and take the next set of directions from your Sat Nav )

Directions from A1/M

·        Come off the A1/ M at Junction 46, just north of  Wetherby

·        At the junction round about take the exit for the B1224 York and the Racecourse.

·        You will shortly come to a second round about at the race course entrance, take the first exit sign posted for York B1224

·        Continue along the B1224 for about 5 miles

·        You will pass the village of Bickerton, recognisable for the petrol station on the left hand side.

·        Shortly after Bickerton is a cross roads called ‘Rudgate’  take a left here signposted for Marston Business Park and Tockwith Industrial Estate, also Cattal, Whixley and Cowthorpe.  There are also brown tourist signs to Antiques and Restoration Centre form this point which will direct you to us.

·        Keep going along this road for about 1½ miles until you come to another cross roads.

·        At the cross roads turn left, sign posted for Cowthorpe.

·        You will be able to see a green warehouse to your left hand side, the entrance is about 200m on the left after the cross roads.
