Helloo! ~ Do hope you'll keep an eye on our site as we bring you some of the things we find interesting, many fabrics from the workroom, a few items of clothing and some FAB individually designed and styled new home furnishings made with wonderful designer fabrics when I have time!. Occasionally a few personal items. And, Beautiful Quality Venise Laces and many Lace and iron-on appliques to have fun with. I try never to list items I havn't or wouldn't house or use myself ~ We always try to post items out within 24 hours of cleared payment and if there should ever be a problem ~ please get in touch We're only a mail away and We care!

Hi! We're a family run enterprise ~ we are not a big business with unlimited resources or staff. We're only registered as Business Sellers to keep the various 'Departments' happy. We try to give the absolutely finest possible service and treat others as we would wish to be treated. Thankyou so much to all my regular returning customers who have helped to make things worthwhile and a success ~ Our Post Office is a 10 mile round trip ~ although we post every day ~ I don't do special runs! In fact I'm no 'Spring Chicken' and I don't do 'runs' anywhere! any more unless I can help it! Items are posted in order of payments received to be fair to all my customers. Our dispatch times are usually listed as 'within 1 working day' apart from weekends of course. IRON ON APPLIQUES: I DON'T SEND OUT INSTRUCTIONS AS THERE ARE SO MANY VARIABLES OF FABRIC ADHESION ETC. ALSO, I DON'T USE THEM MYSELF - BUT THESE ARE MANUFACTURERS SUGGESTED GUIDELINES ONLY: FOR THE IRON-ON APPLIQUES. To create the best sealed bond: Position applique with the adhesive side to the garment. With iron setting on hottest - Place a pressing cloth over the applique. With your iron ready, apply good pressure for up to approx. 30-35 seconds - to allow adhesion of the motif backing to your item. Turn the garment inside-out and repeat this step and allow to cool. Caution: For best results, do not heat apply to fabrics with a low melting point (nylon etc), are overly stretchy, or have a repellent finish. With item inside-out Hand or delicate cycle wash and possibly dry clean. It's essential to experiment on small items first because of the amount of variables. For lace appliques and lengths, it is advisable to wash dark or deep colours before use and separately thereafter. Personally I would probably not attach black appliques on to light clothing, or perhaps deep red on to white for example... Hand or delicate wash cycle recommended for all items.

CURTAIN MAKING ~ Thankyou for your confidence in me ~ but I no longer make curtains to order ~ I'm afraid all the years of producing them has rather killed my enthusiasm for them!! ~ but occasionally when a fabric moves my passions I will make and list some.

A NOTE ON CRYSTALS & RHINESTONES: All UK parcels are sent 1st class delivery - - There is also a different option for first class Recorded. If using the recorded option, as your order will be on it's way within 24 hours of cleared payment - please make arrangements for it's signature receipt if you have to go out - Please see further notes for redelivery if parcels are returned to us as uncollected, if you were out. 1st Class is usually quite quick arriving ~ Options are in the postage tab and on your Invoice Please wait for me to send it if making multiple purchases. I have been a seamstress for nearly fifty years! ~ the last 25 of which professionally ~ working with wonderful fabrics and people! Making soft furnishings and doing upholstery along the way (for which I did 3 years college) ~ I have turned literally thousands of metres of fabric into curtains! I love all things lace and roses, vintage country cottagey and chic with English style! and of course our Vintage Crystals and Rhinestones ~ My daughter is fabulously artistic and creative and uses her design talents to the full and keeps me up to date!

My photographs are Copyright ~ No unathorised use of them whatsoever is permitted ~ I mention this due to a period of recent issues!

RETURNS POLICY:We're a samily run enterprise not a big business. We sell goods through Ebay as it is an Auction site not a Retail site. No refunds except in exceptional circumstances within 7 days and for final bid/purchase price only (no refunds on postage as it is used, or on seller's personal items or custom cut lengths, change of mind or not having fully read the listing). No warranties implied or given. We do our utmost to give an accurate and honest description but our opinions are subjective. Please ask your questions Prior to bidding. Unless we have grossly misdescribed an item, we will refund Purchase Price but cannot return used sending/return postage costs. We do not accept back personal items, that are used, sold as seen - and priced accordingly (eg:my jewellery, clothing etc). On receipt back of Eligible goods, an Ebay form will be emailed to you to enable us to Reclaim the Listing and 10% Final Value percentage fees that we have had to pay. If this form is completed, there will be no detriment to your account. Note: Ebay is good fun but I need to just say ~ We are not a 100% smoke free zone. We occasionally allow visitors their choice, otherwise sadly they don't come ~ Our workrooms are not within the main body of the house so this doesn't usually cause a problem ~ If you are super sensitive to this fact then please reconsider bidding, as much as I love my customers and Ebay has it's place So also do my family.
