SHIPPING:
Personal Safety with heavy packages: Lift, carry and unpack heavy packages safely. When any item arrives unpack it in a safe place where it cannot be dropped.
Items are packaged to avoid damage caused by transportation crush, vibration, heavy air turbulance and serious aircraft heavy-landing. In the small print, courriers generally accept the receivers signature as proof the item has arrived undamaged. Please inspect the box and where possible the item for signs of damage prior to signing for it. If it appears damaged, DO NOT SIGN FOR IT, you must refuse the delivery and insist that the item be returned to the sender, otherwise it will be virtually impossible to make an insurance claim. All courrier companies are extremely slippery regarding insurance claims and will insist the damage occurred after they delivered the item. The best possible insurance is good packing. We cannot be held liable for the arrival of damaged goods if the recipient has incorrectly signed for and taken possession of a package with clear signs of damage to the carton or obvious rattling sounds etc. We pack items extremely well, but there are instances where for example items have rolled off of aircraft loading conveyor belts & smashed onto tarmac runway 4 metres below - we cannot possibly protect anything in this instance and the damage liability is clearly with the courrier, not us. If the item has obvious signs of damage, and has been (incorrectly) signed for by the recipient, the damage liability will then pass from the courrier to the recipient, and not to us.
We would always prefer to use your shipper if it is more convenient or saves you money, DHL, TNT, UPS etc.. No Problem.
In any case of a dispute, international shipping fees are non-refundable. .
