About me
Whereas my primary reason for using ebay is because it is a hobby, it also allows me to pay off my student and other household bills over time. Ebay is not a business to me, and I wouldn’t want to rely on it like that as I wouldn’t have the time to do it full time.
All my items are ones that I have in my possession, and I do not buy specifically for ebay, but I do end up with things left over when I buy stuff in for other projects. If I go to a government auction, I may have to buy a whole pallet to get one part I want, which leaves me with the rest of the pallet to think about. When you don’t have a lot of space, you have to think carefully about what you have to do.
I work for two family run businesses, as well as being a contracted engineer from both companies, out to various people and organizations. Some of them are around my area, and some of them aren’t. In some instances I have had to drive (and fly) to destinations!
All of my listings usually end at night, as it is when I can guarantee that I will be home to deal with them. If I am going away, they will end, or if a problem develops they will end. I do not end auctions early because I am not happy with the price (see my selling history) and I do not end them to sell to someone else. If you want an item, you will have to bid on it. I am more than happy to issue a “Buy It Now” option, so feel free to ask.
In my personal time I like to play with graphical images and designing new things. I also develop my site more when I get time, but have decided for the basic look, as most people don't want to be downloading loads of pointless images. Currently I am working on building a couple of e-shopping sites, and I also play online games when I get the chance. They can be anything from Delta Force 2 to Battlefield 2, or World of Warcraft. I've spent many long hours in the last 7 years competing in matches and other challenges online.
What am I after with computers or ebay? Anything that takes my fancy and appeals to me. Some things I may repair and use, or I may repair and offer it back to ebay, or give it away (see below).
Local charities in my area have the machines I have repaired and other items, some businesses have things that I have repaired and they use it for the community, such as early learning and disability access centers. Most businesses cannot give machines to charities, as they have to be tested for electrical safety amongst other things. That is where I come in, as I can warranty the items I provide, and I have the certification so that they are covered by their insurance.
As strange as this request may be, I am currently after faulty motherboards, and other PCB’s, or older bits, doesn’t matter if they are broken (physically) as they are for a project a friend and I am doing for a charity. For what I hear you ask? Well, we’re trying to line the inside of a large wooden box we have modeled, into a flight simulator. A big thank you to all those who have contributed so far, and photos will be uploaded once the project starts using these items!

To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received. Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
