![]() Grumble - Land Rover 101 Long Range Expedition Camper Greetings from Sheffield - where it's raining... But then it does that, a lot - which is why I spend too much time on the 'puter. ...and when I'm not ...I can usually be found playing with my increasing collection of Land Rovers... Things I look out for on eBay... I have an interest in most things historical - especially old playing cards (Bicycle 'whatever' backs), Magic (I'm a keen but rather pathetic hobby magician of some 35 years standing!), anything to do with Land Rover vehicles (depending upon whatever I've broken recently on any of mine, Hmmm...), Audio and Visual equipment for stage or presentations (all old hippies love Optikinetics projectors - I've got 4 off eBay...) My eBay Policy... I always leave positive feedback which represents my feelings toward the person I've dealt with in a short but 'to the point' way. To date I have never had to leave Negative feedback. If you are a seller, you'll notice that the feedback left for me has been positive. I ALWAYS contact the seller after I've won an auction and will generally pay immediately using PayPal or, in the case of overseas purchases, immediately upon being informed of the total price including shipping to the UK. I've had the good fortune to have dealt with some very nice people via eBay and it all goes to make the world a smaller, more friendly and pleasurable place to live. I mainly buy, but have just started to sell. You may notice odd auctions where I'm selling to raise money for either the Alzheimer's Society or MacMillan Cancer Relief. Both are charities with whom I have had personal contact and can vouch for their worthiness - if you see one of my autions to raise some charity dosh, please bid generously :-) and a slap in the face to: Mrs B Scott of Edinburgh (eBay id: terrorscott - very appropriate), who didn't want to pay in a charity auction, refused to respond to numerous requests and only finally sent a cheque after I reported her to eBay as a non-payer - she then felt fit to leave me Negative Feedback! Beware. Mrs Scott has been my first (and hopefully last) bad experience on eBay - and for her to refuse to pay in a Charity Auction should lead you to make your own mind up about her trustworthiness - or lack of.
